This is just a listing of the final 4 'official' charges given to Timothy from Paul.  I ask that not only do you consider how these apply to you as adults, I especially as you to listen to the audio and hear how I would hope we could also look at these verses in relation to our own children.  We have the same charges as parents towards our children.

Try it - the world may not get your kids yet if you teach them how to take heed to the Scriptures through Paul - and in these cases tonight, looking at the 'hard' stuff in I & II Timothy.

I Timothy 6:17-21

• are our children 'rich' in uncertain riches?
• do our children understand?
• just important are their toys, etc?
• are they being taught to understand about the earthly riches of today?
• what can happen to them if they get this element of their life wrong?

• these things give in charge?
• a huge display of rudeness towards adults exists today from our young folks.
• why do we have so many nursing homes today?
• what is a real widow?
• definitions
• entreat - make an earnest petition / request
• requite - do in return
• infidel - someone who does not believe in the inspiration, etc. of the Scriptures.
• wanton - wavering, wandering, moving loosely, playing in the wind, disposed to unchastity, extravagant, not formed with regularity, lewd, lascivious person, a trifler
• what are today's 'ladies' doing out there if they are not doing what God would have them do?

• without preferring one before another?

• without spot?  unrebukeable?
