We just can't go back in time - 'the way things were' - we still know the Lord has NOT rejected us - or forsaken us, etc. nor do we have to worry about the Tribulation judgment.

• However, God appears to be pulling back and away more and more!
• Proverbs 1:24-33
• Jeremiah 33:11 - The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD.  For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
• Jeremiah 25:10 - Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
• See Lamentations 5:20-22 - Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time? Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
• We are not going to ever get to the place of rejection and being forsaken anymore - the Tribulation is not our future destination!

But still - we need to be 'charged' everyday - or even more often!

The word is RENEW!

It is ok to need to be renewed, but it is not ok to not get renewed when it is so plainly available!

Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

II Corinthians 4:16 - For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Ephesians 4:23 - And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Colossians 3:10 - And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: the more we learn of Him through Paul, the more we are renewed!

Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; - KJB - etc.

III.  War a good warfare!

• I Timothy 1:18,19 -  This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;  Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
• Timothy goes back as far as Acts 16:1
• Holding Faith and a good conscience - concerning faith!
• Paul kept the faith - fought a good fight!
• II Timothy 4:7 - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
• We are to endure the hardness of it all - as a good soldier!  II Timothy 2:3 - Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
• Don't get caught up in the wrong battles
• our home is not to be the battleground!
• the workplace is the workplace - earn your pay and be a testimony to Paul and the rightly divided Scriptures!
• our church certainly is not to be the battleground!
• the brethren are not the enemy, although their doctrine may be!  II Thessalonians 3:14. (...and if they are really brethren!)
• if it is, it is usually because of selfishness, jealousy, pride, hormones, being bi-polar or schizo, or just all around grumpy to be here.  It is easier than being 'right' towards others while you are here.
• waste of time - questions
• gap theory / geocentricity / Denominations vs non-denominational
• I Timothy 1:4 - Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
• I Timothy 6:4 - He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
• II Timothy 2:23 - But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
• Titus 3:9 -But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
• The war is not with the affairs of this life (not of this 'world,' but 'life!') - II Timothy 2:4 - No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
• Live for tomorrow, not today - tomorrow lasts a whole lot longer!
• church - when started; one, two, three - purpose, main emphasis, etc.?
• for your 'leaders' teachings - everyone seems to have their own leader today - Jude 16 - .. their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
• Paul is to be our leader today!
• I Corinthians 1:12,13 - Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
• ever learning... "Christians" too?  but...
• II Timothy 3:7 - Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  KJB perfect?  Paul?
• II Timothy 4:4 - And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
• Nor for vengeance!
• I  Thessalonians 1:8 - In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
• Fight the RIGHT BATTLES!
• To Keep the Word of God!
• proper salvation - Ephesians 1:13
• that which is perfect - I Corinthians 13:10
• rightly divided - II Timothy 2:15,16
• right church purpose for proper growth - Ephesians 4
• not to be deceived - I Corinthians 11:1-4
• magnified above all!  Psalm 138:2
• Faith & trusting His words!

• Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
• Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
• Galatians 3:22 - But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
• Philippians 3:9 - And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
• faith defined:
• belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth.
• the assent of the mind or understanding to the truth of what God has revealed.  Simple belief of the scriptures, of the being and perfections of God, and of the existence, character and doctrines of Christ, founded on the testimony of the sacred writers,
• the assent of the mind to the truth of divine revelation, on the authority of God's testimony, accompanied with a cordial assent of the will or approbation of the heart; an entire confidence or trust in God's character and declarations, and in the character and doctrines of Christ, with an unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation.  In other words, that firm belief of God's testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation.
• It is NOT a blind faith! I Corinthians 13:10 - based on a rightly divided book, not feelings of self-defined faith nor a blind leading of the Spirit.

• Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
• Romans 14:4 - Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Romans 14:13 - Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
