The Way of the World Concerning Truth

7. Hindered by little yet many distractions - business, family, activities, etc.
Galatians 5:7 -

Leaven leavens the whole lump! (verse 9)
Those distractions keep the word of truth away from people distractible within their own lives!
Folks have to make themselves 'say no' to those distractions, even if they are 'good' ones. Prioritize truth!
Change the word of truth - WD - those changes hinder the truth!
Stop the word of truth! - Religion today has no single Bible! Just music - flesh - numbers - gain!
End product today is for people who can not believe - can not trust - but do baptisms, prayers, false statements, etc.
Ephesians 1:13 -
Drawing closer and closer to II Thessalonians 2:10-12

8. Not believe truth concerning salvation...
...even though that truth is all by God's design - in God's own words!
II Thessalonians 2:10-12 -

We can't even tell folks today - they are not interested.
They are ready for the delusion / or / they are beginning to get caught up in it already?

9. Destitute of the truth!
Destitute: Not having or possessing; wanting; as destitute of virtue, or of peity; destitute of food and clothing. It differs from deprived, as it does not necessarily imply previous possession.
I Timothy 6:5 -

There are more folks today than ever before in American history that have never have had or never heard the truth!
These are the correctors, etc. and have passed it on to their congregation who are now the students and new 'ministers' of the new / old gospels!

10. Follow wrong division...
...profane and vain babblings - even a 'christian' testimony can still be a false testimony if based on wrong division!
II Timothy 2:15,16 -

profane: 1. Irreverent to any thing sacred; applied to persons. A man is profane when he takes the name of God in vain, or treats sacred things with abuse and irreverence. Irreverent; proceeding from a contempt of sacred things Not sacred; secular; relating to secular things; as profane history. Polluted; not pure. Not purified or holy; allowed for common use; as a profane place. Obscene; heathenish; tending to bring reproach on religion; as profane fables.
vain - empty; worthless

11. Listen to lying religious folks who cause one to err and even depart from the faith!
II Timothy 2:18 -

They give heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils!

12. Listen to themselves - they oppose themselves!
They will not acknowledge the truth - the KJB - RD!
II Timothy 2:25 -

Dennis Praeger - emotions rule our day today - feelings.
Jude 1:19 - Sensual & sexual in the tribulation days - sure do seem to be heading that way!

13. Always learning - but learning the wrong stuff!
...results of education to the max - day to day education and an attitude of learning but the worldly stuff in books, life, philosophy, psychology, etc.
II Timothy 3:7 -

Look at the modern bookstores - books, coffee, couches, etc.
Note the religious section - what a mess!

14. Resist the truth!
II Timothy 3:8 -

They are men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Reprobate - (as an adjective) Abandoned to error, or in apostasy.
There are those who even know - but they still resist.
We should resist religion - the game - the 'establishment' of modern Christianity - the deception!

15. Many actually follow those who turn them away from truth!
II Timothy 4:4 -

The hear only what they want to hear!
It is a choice they make! By their own will!
Tribulation - Jude - they follow the person - the personality.
That is happening more and more, too. Just look at conference brochures, etc. Pastors and their numbers - musicians and their groups, etc.
Even in politics, people follow the person, not the platform!

16. Give heed to jewish fables - commandments of men.
Titus 1:14 -

Pretty obvious leanings and they just continue with the Great Commission gospel preached today, eh!

And folks, it is just going to keep getting worse and worse!
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
II Timothy 3:13

This then, is God's counsel to us today!
Titus 2:11-15
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,
and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority.
Let no man despise thee.
