And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Ephesians 6:19,20

Paul on Sin Series con't - Ephesians chapter one
With a fair amount of 'humor' in this one - remember, we are family here - we see some excellent observations in Ephesians chapter one that deal with all that Paul preaches about sin - the crux of all the sermons that were preached in November.  For those those who are still with us, this will only add more understanding to the love that God has for us.  This particular sermon may even help clear up a few confusing and mis applications that we tend to make as Christians.  Listen closely to the opening comments before we even get into the first chapter.  These written notes will be the same reference outline for all the Ephesians sermons.

Paul "Assumes" We Know These Things
What are the things that Paul figures we all know?   The list is a simple one, but do you know these things?

The Way of God More Perfectly
The Risen Gospel vs the Crucified Christ
Learn why Paul keeps referring to the Christ that he is preaching as the Crucified Christ.  This is my best yet roughest explanation to date on the warnings of the doctrines from the Great Commission.  Paul is so very clear in this matter.  We see here that in Touchet, God is presenting unto us His way more perfectly.  Paul warns preachers to not let their preaching and faith be in vain by preaching Great Commission doctrine.

Paul Can't Believe We Don't Know These Things   Part I
Similar to the December 5 Sunday School class, here are some things that it sounds like Paul 'expects' us to know as he says, "Know ye not?"  Do you know these things?  You are kidding?  You really don't?  KNOW YE NOT...???  Well, it is time to learn them.

 Paul and the Wall
We not only review the history of the Jews, we see the divisional wall between the Jews and the Gentiles that GOD created.  To see that Paul preaches that the wall is down, we certainly understand more now why the Jews gave Paul such a hard time.  See Peter's involvement with all this as well as the dangers of the Great Commission concerning these matters.  There is a tough piece of preaching at the end of this sermon - concerning salvation and the Great Commission.  Beware of ALPHA and the modern Christian approach of the Great Commission and the doctrine that goes with it - even in our own baptist churches these days - it produces a vain faith.   (My apologies for the sniffles you will hear in this sermon audio - my grandkids's cold finally caught up with me!)

Paul on Sin Series  - More From Ephesians
Continuing the series on specifics from Paul on 'bad works' that will burn, always remembering that they are still not sin to a Christian.  Our sins are washed and forgiven, but we can't forget that these works MUST be burned in the Judgment Seat of Christ.  Praise Him that WE will not burn because we do things!  Again, excuse the humor about Tubby and Nancy at the end of this one.  :-)

 Who Must Be "Born Again"
Looking closer at John 3:7, who really is Jesus saying needs to be born again?  Is this just another sermon that will make people think we are going "Hyper" in Touchet?  Not if they hear the whole sermon.  See how important the singular and plural is to the words thee and ye - and see how that little difference illustrates the importance of rightly dividing when it comes to using the Book lawfully in our witness and example.

Israel in the Bible, Israel Today and Israel in the Near Future
We do a general review of the Jews in the Bible and then we watched three CD's on modern Jewish history put together by a family from Israel. We were ablt to see how they present their own general review of modern Israel's wars, etc.  We see at the end that they still desire a peace thus they are ripe for the anti-christ to show up.  There is no DVD available, but there is an audio as well as notes of what was presented.  We are commanded to not be conceited concerning Israel and I see a trend that most Bible Believers think our blessings are because of us - instead, it is because of the Jews - and we don't dare forget that - even though America seems to doing just that.  You also hear how Islam (Ishmael) factors into all of the latest news today.  Brethren, things are getting more and more exciting each day.  You may as well know some of what is going on is EXACTLY as God said it would!

More Sticks That Could Burn - Paul in Philippians chapter one
Tonight was a little family session where we look at some things in chapter one that if we do the 'opposite' it would give us wood, hay, and stubble to burn at our judgment seat.  This is just some small talk encouragement in our walk - some good application in there, but a little silliness, etc.  I hope ya'll don't mind.  There are no notes, but these are the verse we 'park' on:  4, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 22-26, 27-30

The True & Detailed Story of Jesus Christ's Birth
As read in the Gospels, we go through the verse by verse reading - with a few bunny trails and min-sermons along the way, of course - hear the exact truth in detail about the birth of Jesus Christ - along with John the Baptist.  There are no notes other than following along in your Bible - KJB, of course, in this order: Luke 1:1-4; 5-25; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-56; 57-80; Luke 2:1-24; Matthew 2:1-18 finishing with Simeon's little sermon in Luke 2:25-35.  Stay with us to the end of this little family sermon and see how this all ends with Hebrews 4:12!

 John the Baptist
John the Baptist is very much a part of the "Christmas Story."  This sermon does a complete look at the man and ministry of John the Baptist - including the 'false gospel' preached today based on John's ministry.  From the modern denominational church to the ALPHA, Purpose Driven churches - and now even the Baptists, we see how John's ministry has become a false gospel today producing imitation Christians with a 'vain faith.'

Also note that Netscape will show these pages as I designed them to look - I have no clue as to why the big blue e doesn't.  Just so you know... some of those poor designs are not true to my plan.
