Standing Perfect
and Complete in All the Will of
God.
Ephaphras wants us in...
Colossians 4:12 - Epaphras,
who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring
fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in
all the will of God.
Individual will for each of us specifically?
Romans 12:2 - And
be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God.
Made known the mystery of his will!
Ephesians 1:9 - Having
made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure
which he hath purposed in himself:
We are to understand
Ephesians 5:17 - Wherefore
be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Filled with knowledge of His will
Colossians 1:9 - For
this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for
you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
To Paul:
Acts 22:14 - And
he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know
his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
Acts 22:21 - And
he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
Acts 26:16 - But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast
seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
I Corinthians 1:1,2 - Paul,
called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes
our brother, Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are
sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every
place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
II Corinthians 1:1 - Paul,
an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are
in all Achaia:
God's Will through Paul to Us:
Romans 1:10 - Making
request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey
by the will of God to come unto you.
Romans 15:32 - That
I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
Satan hindered him
I Thessalonians 2:18 - Wherefore
we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered
us.
Us
Galatians 1:4 - Who
gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil
world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Ephesians 1:4-6 - According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated
us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according
to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:11 - In
whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according
to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own
will:
Philippians 2:13 - For
it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Ephesians 6:6 - Servants,
be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with
fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with
eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will
of God from the heart;
Abstain from fornication
I Thessalonians 4:3 - For
this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain
from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his
vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence,
even as the Gentiles which know not God:
Fornication: Idolatry; a forsaking of the true
God, and worshipping of idols.
Concupiscence: In a more general sense, the coveting
of carnal things, or an irregular appetite for worldly good; inclination
for unlawful enjoyments.
Give thanks
I Thessalonians 5:18 - In
every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning
you.
Men to pray
I Timothy 2:8 -
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without
wrath and doubting.
Women marry
I Timothy 5:14 - I
will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house,
give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
HS interceeds for us according to God's will!
Romans 8:27 -
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of
God.
