Title of new movie - There Will Be Blood!

• lousy - devilish -music that hurts as much as any music can be hurtful
• lots of violence
• quality movie according to Hollywood classic style
• will still cause many Christians to stumble with the temptation of this 'entertainment.'
• So as people look for the movie web-site, maybe this may pop up on their site searches...

• However, for a true Christian, there is NO more blood in the future.
• Enough blood has already been shed.
• but before we talk about that, we must be reminded that there IS a need for blood today - in true Christianity present...
• but even before we deal with that, let's start with looking at the blood that was in Christianity past!

• It irritated me to think that the world is seeing that kind of baloney!
• Jesus is not a baby today!
• We were never told to celebrate his birth!
• The facts of the religious nature of Christmas are all wrong, except that, "Yes, He was born on earth, etc.!
• The songs / carols do not have truth being sung!
• Santa's details are an exact copy / duplicate of the details of the antichrist...
• Details of the holiday hoopla are Catholic and pagan from the past.
• There was a time in America that Christmas wasn't even celebrated.
• In some places, it was actually outlawed.
• They knew it wasn't true Scripturally, not that they were against God, etc.
• Christmas has been changing so much in recent years - is it something we are supposed to fight to keep?  ten commandments?  public prayer?  abortion?  etc.

• Matthew 2:16 - Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

• Paul was concerned about people following another Jesus!
• II Corinthians 11:4 - For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
• Paul told the people that they worship an unknown God!
• Acts 17:22-25 - Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

• (remember 6:63 - that is when Christ says these words are spiritual - he is not meaning to physically 'partake' of any 'wine turned to blood' etc.  Amazing how folks can make a false doctrine out of not reading the whole chapter!
• Jesus sweat his own blood
• Luke 22:41-44 - And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
• Cut off ear - producing blood at his arrest
• Luke 22:50-51 - And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
• A soldier pierced Jesus after He had died
• John 19:32-37 - Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.  But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. • Judas's field of blood

• Paul stoned - would certainly be bloody, as were a lot of other things that happened to Paul.
• Acts 14:19-20 - And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
• II Corinthians 11:24-28 - Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. • Paul and the church of God - Blood cost has been paid for!

• the everlasting covenant
• Hebrews 13:20,21 - Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,  Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. • walk in the light
I John 1:7-10 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

• Martyrs again give their blood

• Are you ready for YOUR judgment?
• Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
• Judgment Seat of Christ
• Blood already has been shed for those who have put their trust in Christ!
• Romans 14:10 - But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

• White Throne Judgment

• You will die "in your sins!"
