"Ensamples" from whom to learn, not "examples" for us to follow!

vs. 1

WOE be unto the pastors...

Revelation 8:13 - And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
No woes for us to worry about today.

We still have...

Judgment Seat
reaping, still consequences, etc.

but no chastisement until Laodicean / Tribulation - hard for Christians to believe...???

America should worry about His woes!
American Christianity should worry about His woes!
But today, He is longsuffering towards the lost - Romans 2:5,6
The word "pastor" is in OT 7x and only in Jeremiah.

Today's American Christianity's pastors preach deceitfully:

shall fear no more

nor be dismayed

false confidence on heart, feelings, pastors lying words, etc. "strength in diversity", "taking down the walls of doctrinal division," etc.

neither shall they be lacking

...supposing that gain is godliness - I Timothy 6:5

II Timothy 3:13 - But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Christ is promised

Too bad they didn't accept Him when came... Matthew 16:15-18
...or even the second time with Peter & Steven! - Galatians 2:8; Acts 7

vs. 9-11
"I understand, Jeremiah - I understand!"

why did he feel that way about his people?

because of the LORD
because of the words of his holiness
because of their actions - adulterers, swearing, course is evil and force is not right - prophet and priest are profane...
because of the damage being done - pleasant places dried up... wickedness in the house of the LORD

vs 12-15
Their tribulation was coming

The worlds Tribulation is coming
Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

vs 16,17
Those that preach not the KJB - the false prophets, etc.

make you vain
speak a vision & imagination of their own hearts
they lie to the people about peace
they despise Jeremiah - us - KJB - Rightly Dividing - Paul

they prophesied
