What's
In It FOR Us?
Part X

March 25, 2007
I Samuel 1-4
Continuing
our "Old Testament" highlights as to what is in those books FOR us, even
though there is nothing in those books TO us! There are many Paulish
churches that tend to ignore the OT. That is a shame. Not only
are they missing the completeness of the Scriptures, it is NOT God's design
at all. II Timothy 2:16 says that ALL
scripture.. that includes all 66 Books of the King James
Bible. While they are not all TO us, they certainly are all FOR
us!
OT Ensamples for us!
Paul even tells us to look to those
OT Scriptures for our ensample! I Corinthians
10:11 - Now all these things happened
unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon
whom the ends of the world are come.
I will say
it again, "We just continue to see more and more OT applications falsely
taught today during the time of Paul's gospel and the dispensation of grace!
I
Samuel 1-4

Hannah Ensample but not
Example!
-
As great an ensample
as Hannah is, she, along with Ruth, are NOT a type of lady to follow today!
Learn from them but do not try to imitate them!
-
OT inspiration
- the so-called "ideal mother."
-
Her Sanctity,
her Sorrow, her Supplication, her Song, her Sacrifice!
That makes her the example for the mixed up ladies of today - the OT Honourable
and Devout woman!
OT Warriorettes of Today
These kinds
of ladies today are enemies to grace. These are the OT Warriorettes.
These are the ladies in the churches that run the ship, claim to be the
prayer warriors, talk and sound so spiritual, yet their own glaring disobedience
in their home and in the church is seen by everyone but themselves.
They may make
the claim to be honourable and devout but they stood against
Paul in Acts 13:50
and still do today - even if yet behind their honourable and devout smokescreen!
But the Jews stirred up the devout and
honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution
against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
We can't forget the devil will...
-
take a woman captive at his will (II Timothy 2:26)
if she will not acknowledge the truth.
-
lead her out of the house with divers lusts, ever learning and never able
to come to he knowledge of the truth! (II TImothy
3:6)...
-
change her God created and designed desire to her husband, and he
shall rule over thee...
-
fulfill his goal for the woman today to have children who will be the oppressor
in their family, (Isaiah 3:12)
-
get the woman to rule over her man, which will cause
her family to err, and destroy
the way of thy paths!
So ladies, if you "feel" any of those things going
on in your life, remember what Paul said in
Titus 24,5 - ...to
be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet,
chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the
word of God be not blasphemed.
Honourable and devout fake!
If you don't, then you are an honourable and devout fake - and believe
me, everyone knows it but you - and all that spiritual wonder you portray
will burn at your judgment seat!
OT Lady Heroines?
...or do you even know any of the women's names involved with Paul's
ministry?
...very little is known about these ladies - but maybe that is exactly
the point! It would certainly fit with Paul's guidance for ladies
to serve God in a manner that would actually please God, not themselves
or the world, etc.
