Will follow Jesus incorrectly!

Old Testament, Christ followed them!

I Corinthians 10:4 - And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Gospels: - Jesus Himself was to be followed physically!

Matthew 19:21 - Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Mark 8:34 - And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Paul: We are told to follow Paul as he followed Christ and in the manner that the RISEN Christ revealed to Paul, not in the gospels to the Jews.

I Corinthians 11:1 - Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
he is coming to receive His church...

Tribulation

Hebrews to Jude / Revelation
They will have to follow by faith and works, a Jesus that chastises, corrects physically back to the law when they stray, and are expected to follow the commandment.
He will forgive daily IF confessed to Him!
He is coming to land on earth this time which will bring about WAR!

Will have an insecure 'assurance'

not solid - can't stand on it when things get tough!
You will eventually still wonder...

If you are really born of God because you still sin - and that is in I John 3. I have sinned since I was 'born-again.'
Have you confessed them all?
Are you saved at that moment?
Grace? sure - but what about all those verses that bible thumper told me?
Has God chastised and corrected me enough?
Do I need to do more suffering on my part, maybe?
I still have sin in my heart - how can God hear my prayers?
I still have sin in my life - how can God hear me? Be with me? Even care about me?
All these bibles today say things so differently - and the missing verses - doctrines so different - how can that be?
All the denominations teach things so differently - and there are so many of them!
All these new programs still have things so different...
We don't have a large and growing church - or any church at all. Is there something wrong with us?
How can Paul expect us to KNOW those things he said we should KNOW?
Is my salvation secure?
Is my understanding something I can trust and have confidence in?

See Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

it IS OK to KNOW these things - it is not arrogant, conceited, prideful, unless your actions deem otherwise.
And WHAT do you base your KNOWING on? Scriptures? Opinion? Your pastor? Your church? Your parents? Your wife / husband?
Be solid - be confident! Paul teaches the riches of understanding and assurance!

Lose Fellowship

with God? Not by Him; it would be you walking away!

from such turn away - but not 'from' God!
withdraw from - but not 'from' God!
He would have to deny himself to walk away from us! II Timothy 2:13 - If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Close your Bible - stop praying!
Iniquity in your heart? Psalm 66:18 - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:? No - that is OT. It is not in the NT.

In fact, we still have sin in us? How can this be?

We are not expected or told to walk that sinless walk. Christ has MADE us sinless in God's eyes, by HIS walk that is imputed to us. But the sin is still there - Romans 4-8; 10:3 - it has been fulfilled!

Miss the Quiet and Peaceable Life!

I Timothy 2:2
The world has missed this life, and it has not lasted in America - because they have not been given Paul's gospel and teachings and ways!

America went into deep debt, abundance of envy, Ezek:16:49: Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
That certainly is not a result of a Risen Christ that Paul preaches about!

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. The preachers and teachers have not taught those things!
They were NOT taught in every church His epistles have NOT been read in the churches. I Corinthians 4:17

I Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. That peace has not been brought to America!

Yet - amongst it all, we still have had the freedom to have it a quiet and peaceable life in our own homes! Do you?
I Corinthians 7:12-16. We should!

Miss the answers to Paul's prayers for us!

not have the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him
have the eyes of our understanding being enlightened
not know what is the hope of his calling
not know the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints
not know the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe
not be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the our inner self
not be rooted and grounded in love - a proper Scriptural love, not a humanist one
not be able to comprehend what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height
not know the real love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that we might be filled with all the fulness of God
not have a love that would abound more and more in knowledge and in all judgment
not be able to approve things that are excellent
not be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ
not be filled with fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God
not be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding
now walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing
not being fruitful in every good work
not increasing in the knowledge of God
not strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.
miss having a comforted heart
not know the full assurance of understanding! Colossians 2:2
know how to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

All the above today is ONLY found within a King James Bible - rightly divided! All the rest is nothing but vain jangling and profane and vain babblings!

You will grow, alright - you will have an increase in:

False trust

uncertain riches - not the living God - these riches will cause you to err from the faith I Timothy 6:17-21
riches - money - I Timothy 6:10 - err from the faith and pierce yourself through with many sorrows!
earthly things -

Colossians 3:1,2 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Galatians 5:1 - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

entangled in the affairs of this life - II Timothy 2:4 - No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

follow the wisdom of men - I Corinthians 2:5 - That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
live an unprofitable life - more on that tonight! And will watch it all burn up in the judgment seat of Christ!

Not see things today properly!

Revelation 1:19 - Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
I Corinthians 13:10 - But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
II Timothy 2:15,16 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
II Corinthians 2:11 - Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Be prepared to greet the antichrist with open arms!

Revelation 16:14
II Thessalonians 2:9-12

(Islam? Abraham, father to Jews (Isaac); Muslims (Ishmael), Christians (Jesus) - the delusion? could be...)

Lastly - the Hardest thing to lose - Our kids - grandkids!

not get the God of peace from Paul - Philippians 4:9
Salvation must come from Paul's epistles! There IS a difference between his and the others. There is another Jesus, another gospel, another spirit and Paul warns us about that!
teach them how to rightly divide - that is Paul's way!
Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. That is the 'way' that is to be taught in every church!

I Corinthians 4:17 - For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

It isn't the 'do's of the gospels and Jesus teachings, etc. or is it theOT - nor is it Hebrews to Jude/Revelation. It is rightly dividing Paul's way! Romans to Philippians, with a King James Bible!
