Not Understanding the KJB
You are here today for a reason:
I am to be your helper of your joy!

We are not about any 'person's educated teachings!
We are not about making / creating / planting churches today!
We are not about the many different denominational faiths.

We are IN days of apostasy!

Church 'planting' is such a bogus teaching!  As far as the lost think about churches anyway - they say a) too many; b) weird, c) social clubs, d) militant, e) flaky, f) and some think they are a danger to society!

Here in Touchet, we are a local church with folks who are trying to magnify God's words above all - including: traditions of men, rituals, preaching, church attendance, pastors, etc.  We are trying to magnify this Book even above His name!  Psalm 138:2

Unfortunately, we see that most people can no longer 'endure' sound doctrine!
In fact, only a few will get it thee days... and even fewer will help pay to help it continue!

We saw last week that the source of understanding today is the King James Bible!  Before 1611, church was necessary for preaching, understanding, etc. In the Tribulation, preaching and church will be extremely important.  Today, we have the King James Bible - God's words - that is to be magnified above all.

Where do folks turn for understanding today?
    Rick Warren, Pastors, Being baptized, doing the Lord's Supper, TV, their pastor, etc.

Those folks today in modern Christianity (or lazy Bible Believing churches) are turning to Gospel teachings, fleshly lead worship - modern bibles - buildings - another Jesus, etc.

Why is that?
Where is their source of understanding?
It sure isn't the KJB!

Why is one of the characteristics of people today "without understanding?"
Romans 1:31
Romans 3:11

Is it because they are not saved?
No!  It is because they don't have a KJB.

And for those who claim a salvation yet they have little if any understanding... why is that so?

Question:  Can God's words (KJB) - all by itself - show a lost person his need for salvation
and lead him to a true salvation?
Yes!
If folks have no understanding,
if folks can not find salvation in that KJB alone...
...IT ISN'T THE FAULT OF THE KJB!

The KJB is sufficient for all - including one's salvation!  II Corinthians 12:9
The KJB is God's grace and is sufficient.

Where was God's word before 1611?  From God through preaching and church, etc. through people God would give understanding to  - in part, etc.  But when that which is perfect came, that all was stopped.  See I Corinthians 13:8-10

Does God promise to give folks His words - and in written manner?
Yes - see Proverbs 22:18-21
    I have made known to thee...
    Written things to thee
    The certainty of words of truth
    Thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee!

Marvelous assurance, eh!
Also, remember Psalm 12:6,7 - His promise to preserve His words... - only found in a KJB.

Here are a few reasons - from the KJB itself...
...that keep folks from understanding that simple KJB!

Even if they read it, but they still don't see it!  How can that be?
What is stopping them from that simple understanding?

1.  They hold the truth in unrighteousness!
Romans 1:18

2.  They have changed the truth into a lie!
Romans 1:25

3.  The words of the Lord have been corrupted!
II Corinthians 2:17

4.  Time is closer to the times of delusion!
II Thessalonians 2:11

5.  The love of money!
I Timothy 6:10,17

6.  Their heart is not in it.

7.  Educational confounded 8.  Words stolen - lest they be saved! 9.  The trend is towards being WILLINGLY IGNORANT 10.  Grace of God is being turned more and more in lasciviousness, etc. 11.  Have been following 'profane and vain babblings' for years! 12.  People have corrupt minds, are destitute of truth, always learning but never able to ... 13.  Pride
OK, so with all that interference today, how shall they hear?
Romans 10:14,15

God is trusting US to tell them!
Folks need help with that Bible today!
I Thessalonians 2:4
I Timothy 1:11
I Timothy 6:20

They can't get it otherwise - but it is NOT the fault of the Bible itself!

PS - when did you actually get saved?
When did you actually 'trust?'
Ephesians 1:13!
