We must maintain our faith in Christ's faith!

• Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
• Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

• It is solid, secure and sealed!
• II Timothy 2:13 - If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

• Unfeigned - not counterfeit; not hypocritical; real; sincere
• I Timothy 1:5 - Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
• II Timothy 3:5 - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

• I Timothy 1:14 - And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
• We know the faith OF Christ is permanent!
• It deals with the Kingdom of God - Romans 14:7 - a spiritual kingdom, not a physical one.
• But our own faith can waver as physical life goes on...
• We walk by faith, not by sight... right? II Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

• I Timothy 4:6 - If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

I Timothy 4:12,13 - Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

a)  people despise the youth out of jealousy
b)  a young person living a life that is despised by others
c)  don't just rebel and do it your 'better' way - be the example!  Titus 2:6-8 -  Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,  Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

• I Timothy 5:8 - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

• I Timothy 5:12-15 - Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. For some are already turned aside after Satan.

• I Timothy 6:10 - For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

• I Timothy 6:20,21 -  O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

• II Timothy 1:13 - Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

• II Timothy 3:15 - And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
• You didn't have it all right as a child, but how about your own kids?

You want them to have a better life than you did?  Ok, here is your greatest opportunity!

• Titus 1:13, 14 - This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
• II Timothy 3:16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
