purpose than to show you, the reader, the scriptural attack against Contemporary
Christian Music. There are no examples or descriptions of any CCM
on this page. If you truly doubt the truth of these Scriptures, there
will be many great and solid links at the end of this page to direct you
to specific proofs and examples to show you that God knows what He is talking
about regarding CCM.

from seeing the real God
and hearing the voice of the real God.

of God, and is profitable for doctrine,

try. However, please remember, unless it is with a KJV 1611 Bible,
you are using a dirty plastic butter knife found in your neighbors dumpster
compared to the Holy and powerful twoedged sword of the Spirit, which is
the word of God. Your bibles are from corrupted manuscripts, written
by devilish inspired 'scholars' who also inspired the CCM scene.
You would do well if you would contact a Bible-Believing Pastor (you know...
that 'rabid' guy who you see once-in-a-while on a street-corner) and have
him show you what the KJV 1611 Bible has in comparison to your bible.
See where your bible came from and learn the truth about God's words!
It would be the most important search & discovery
you have ever made in your life.

case the reader does not understand the scriptural application))
I Thess 5:21-23
Prove all things; hold fast
that which is good.
There is nothing good in CCM!
Abstain from all appearance
of evil.
CCM has the full appearance of evil!
And the very God of peace sanctify
you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
CCM is involved with the god of this world,
not the God of peace!
II Tim 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts:
but follow righteousness, faith,
charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
This is NOT a description of CCM
Gal 5:17
Walk in the Spirit, and
ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against
the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the
one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
The element of flesh is all over CCM and
the Spirit has nothing to do with the flesh!
Mt 6:24
No man can serve two masters:
for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold
to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Musicians in CCM admit themselves that
there is 'big money' in this market!
Lk 16:15
And he said unto them, Ye are
they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts:
for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight
of God.
The CCM crowd justifies this type of ungodly
music before men, but as we see in these scriptures and the studies that
are linked from here, CCM is an abomination in the sight of God!
Jn 3:30
He must increase, but I must
decrease.
The "artist" is who increases and it is
Jesus Christ who decreases.
Very little, if any, public references
to Jesus Christ in CCM lyrics.
Jn 12:43
For they loved the praise
of men more than the praise of God.
It means more to CCM'ers that people buy
their records and make the musicians "artists" & stars!
Those records and CD's 'gotta sell'.
II Cor 6:4-10,
But in all things approving
ourselves as the ministers of God,
in much patience, in afflictions,
in necessities, in distresses,
In stripes, in imprisonments,
in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
By pureness, by knowledge,
by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the
power of God,
by the armour of righteousness
on the right hand and on the left,
By honour and dishonour, by
evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
As unknown, and yet well known;
as dying, and,
behold, we live; as chastened,
and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing;
as poor, yet making many rich;
as having nothing, and yet
possessing all things.
This is NOT the testimony of the CCM 'artists'
& ministers. In fact, it is very from it.
II Cor 6:14-17
Be ye not unequally yoked
together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness
with unrighteousness?
and what communion hath light
with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ
with Belial?
or what part hath he that believeth
with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the
living God;
as God hath said, I will dwell
in them, and walk in them;
and I will be their God, and
they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among
them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing;
and I will receive you,
CCM is promoting concerts together, recording
on the same record/CD labels, sharing lyrics and having the same outward
appearance as many of the worldly, 'unsaved' rock groups,
and that is in total opposition to the
above verses!
Eph 5:11
And have no fellowship with
the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
It is extremely obvious that CCM has not
reproved the works of darkness, but have joined them.
Mt 7:15-20
Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their
fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth
forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth
evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not
forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye
shall know them.
And by the fruits of CCM, we know them...
False prophets with an evil religion bearing evil fruit.
Mt 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out
devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto
them,
I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
The sad results for so many 'members'
of the CCM religion. Deception has an awful ending!
Jer 6:10
To whom shall I speak,
and give warning, that they may hear?
behold, their ear is uncircumcised,
and they cannot hearken:
behold, the word of the LORD
is unto them a reproach;
they have no delight in it.
Proof of this verse will be the responses

I Cor 14:15-17
What is it then? I will
pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also:
I will sing with the spirit,
and I will sing with the understanding also.
Else when thou shalt bless
with the spirit,
how shall he that occupieth
the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks,
seeing he understandeth not
what thou sayest?
For thou verily givest thanks
well, but the other is not edified.
The CCM musicians can say all the 'good'
that they want,
but the listeners are not being edified
according to the truth of the scriptures!
Gal 6:7,8
Be not deceived; God
is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh
shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit
shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
God will not put up with CCM forever.
CCM is already reaping corruption.
CCM does not sow to the Spirit - CCM sows
to the flesh!
Ez 22:25-28
There is a conspiracy
of her prophets in the midst thereof,
like a roaring lion ravening
the prey;
they have devoured souls; they
have taken the treasure and precious things;
they have made her many widows
in the midst thereof.
Her priests have violated my
law, and have profaned mine holy things:
they have put no difference
between the holy and profane,
neither have they shewed difference
between the unclean and the clean,
There is no difference between the music
of the world and the music of CCM
Ez 22:27,28
And her prophets have daubed
them with untempered morter,
seeing vanity, and divining
lies unto them, saying,
Thus saith the Lord GOD, when
the LORD hath not spoken.
The LORD has not spoken the CCM message.
They lie when they say, "God says..."
Mat 15:16-19
And Jesus said, Are ye also
yet without understanding?
Do not ye yet understand,
that whatsoever entereth in
at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
But those things which proceed
out of the mouth come forth from the heart;
and they defile the man.
For out of the heart proceed
evil thoughts,
murders, adulteries, fornications,
thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
CCM is totally without understanding!
I Cor 10:5-12
But with many of them God was
not well pleased:
for they were overthrown in
the wilderness.
Now these things were our examples,
to the intent we should not
lust after evil things,
as they also lusted.
Neither be ye idolaters, as
were some of them; as it is written,
The people sat down to eat
and drink, and rose up to play.
Neither let us commit fornication,
as some of them committed,
and fell in one day three and
twenty thousand.
Neither let us tempt Christ,
as some of them also tempted,
and were destroyed of serpents.
Neither murmur ye, as some
of them also murmured,
and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Now all these things happened
unto them for ensamples:
and they are written for our
admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Wherefore let him that thinketh
he standeth take heed lest he fall.
We should learn from the Israelites -
there is no need to walk in the wilderness today.
God's words are clear as to what is truth
and to what direction our walk should be.
I Cor 5:6
Your glorying is not good.
Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
CCM is full of self praise and self glorification.
It started out so simple in the early Keith Green days and has been leavened
to an obvious and outward wickedness. The whole lump has been leavened!
Deut 32:5
They have corrupted themselves,
their spot is not the spot
of his children:
they are a perverse and crooked
generation.
Good application for CCM
Deut 32:15-22
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and
kicked:
thou art waxen fat, thou art
grown thick, thou art covered with fatness;
then he forsook God which made
him,
and lightly esteemed the Rock
of his salvation.
They provoked him to jealousy
with strange gods,
with abominations provoked
they him to anger.
They sacrificed unto devils,
not to God;
to gods whom they knew not,
to new gods that came newly
up, whom your fathers feared not.
Of the Rock that begat thee
thou art unmindful,
and hast forgotten God that
formed thee.
And when the LORD saw it, he
abhorred them,
because of the provoking of
his sons, and of his daughters.
And he said, I will hide my
face from them, I will see what their end shall be:
for they are a very froward
generation, children in whom is no faith.
They have moved me to jealousy
with that which is not God;
they have provoked me to anger
with their vanities:
and I will move them to jealousy
with those which are not a people;
I will provoke them to anger
with a foolish nation.
For a fire is kindled in mine
anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell,
and shall consume the earth
with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
CCM is in an awful position. It
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
Deut 32:28,29
For they are a nation void
of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
O that they were wise,
that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
If only the CCM followers would 'wise-up'!
Deut 32:31-33
For their rock is not as our
Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
For their vine is of
the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah:
their grapes are grapes of
gall, their clusters are bitter:
Their wine is the poison of
dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
Our Rock is Christ! Their rock is Satan.
Deut 32:37,38
And he shall say, Where are
their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
Which did eat the fat of their
sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings?
let them rise up and help you,
and be your protection.
The gods of CCM will not be around for
CCM followers judgment
II Jn 9-11
Whosoever transgresseth, and
abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.
He that abideth in the doctrine
of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you,
and bring not this doctrine,
receive him not into your house,
neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him
God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
CCM should not be in your house, in your vehicle, etc.
You are partaker of their evil deeds!
