Expounding the way of God more perfectly - Acts 18:26 - with the Scriptures Rightly Divided - II Timothy 2:15
That Which Is Perfect is Our Final Authority
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
I Corinthians 13:10

Lets' take a quick look at I Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

During Paul's days, he preached that they are abiding in faith, hope, charity instead of the Book.  They HAD NO BIBLE!

But now we do.

And as folks today (most of modern Christianity) don't have the word of God anymore, they concentrate their Christianity on faith(theirs, not Christ's!), hope(they do hope for Christ's return, although they little truth about him - and really, all they want to do is go to heaven when they die, etc) and love (no charity) (they emphasize love more than anything else today - see I John 4:19 in an NIV, etc.)!

Do you now see why the King James Bible is truly the FINAL AUTHORITY - that which is perfect (spiritually) has come?
Even over faith, hope, 'love,' baptism, Lords' supper, healing, ordination, laying on of hands, wonders, miracles, 'the Lord said in my heart,' God said to me..., prophecies, tongues and knowledge.

Now we can see - just as Paul's goal is to open our eyes!
Acts 26:18

That which is perfect 'spiritually' today is the King James Bible!
That which is perfect 'physically' tomorrow will be Jesus Christ!

It's the Book folks, it's the Book!

The Seriousness of It!
We are either VERY RIGHT or VERY WRONG!
 
If we are VERY RIGHT
If we were to be VERY WRONG
We tend to cause problems with the "brethren" who have been taught or believe otherwise.

It just will!
  • we would be causing problems with God
  • we would be going against the trends of all the modern growing churches
  • we would show ourselves to have NO understanding of spirit led churches, etc.
It truly is the 'way of God more perfectly' We are NOT learning the way of God more - only LESS - only a false gospel, etc.
Is is a more excellent way! We would not be living a more excellent way - only LESS!
It is our Final Authority - no issue there!
  • We would need to use other Bibles, pastors, teachers, scholars, feelings, fleshly fun music, our kids and teens would be happier, we would make more friends and love people better. 
  • We would have to see that America is going through revival.
  • We would be our own final authority, led by our feelings and the inner spirit of God baloney!
It will lead us to MORE godliness! We would be being led to an increase of ungodliness!
We receive the approval of God! We would NOT have God's approval today!
We can learn to please God! We would only be pleasing ourselves / and others with a religion that pleases ourselves.
It will work effectually in us - because we believe! Psychology would have to be where we would turn for help!
We would bear fruit at His pleasure! It is His increase! We would have been making imitation fruit!
Quench the anti-christ spirit and our flesh, etc. We would be guilty of quenching the Spirit of God by saying the Bible is the perfect and inerrant and preserved and inspired Holy Scriptures.
Nothing to be ashamed about! We would be very ashamed at all we tried to do for folks with a Bible instead of psychology and welfare.
It eliminates all the modern church movements and the increasing pentecostal flavouring that exists today. Then these modern church groups must be right - so I also would need to go do school for Greek study, etc. or find a pastor who has so he can explain it all to me & imitate him, etc.
We can learn to live the risen life of Christ We must still hang around on the cross and be like all the other 'old fashioned' Christians - losing our kids and just being confused with it all.

The Significance of It All!

Turn to the Book!
If the KJV is 'that which is perfect," then it means that we have to turn to the Book for everything Christ is and has!

Even Galatians 2:20 means He will walk the walk for us as we follow the RD written Scriptures.  That is why He allows us to do stupid things...

We would have to seek it all in the King James Bible - no 'impressed' on my heart, no leading, etc. without the Book!

OR
If not the KJB but 'Christ,' then I quit!
I am not interested in today's 'self-designed' and 'self-pleasing' Christianity that is waiting for A christ, "whoever that is..."

I would be done with sacrifice for others, my heart being smashed over and over, the hurt, the effect, the time involvement, lack of time with my own family, etc.

I would not want anything to do with those modern church 'growing' programs.

If I have to wait for Him but not know anything SOLID about Him for TODAY, than I would tend to not believe any of it -  especially if what I see on Television is what I would have to follow!!!

The Satisfaction...
of the KJB being that which is perfect for today and Christ Himself for tomorrow!

Remember, our flesh will never be satisfied...
Romans 7:14-20
Proverbs 27:20  Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

Confidence
Acts 28:31 - Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
Titus 2:15 - These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Courage
Acts 28:15 - And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.

Satisfied - this Book gives me peace until I GO or until He COMES!
Philippians 4:6-9
I Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
II Corinthians 5:8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Romans 7:24-25  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

...in that my faith will continue to grow!
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

...in being able to understand the Scriptures more and more through rightly dividing - not a big educationally designed need, just the simple outline as led by the Spirit of God IN the Scriptures

...in that I don't have to live by MY understanding!

...knowing that I will continue to see more victories from temptation, earn more 'light' - clothes and see more of what is important to see!
Revelation 3:18  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Acts 26:18-20 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. ... having a real incentive to tell others - not a guilty push to "build a church through the Great Commission, etc"
Romans 10:14,15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning
that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

I wouldn't want it any other way!

Yes - I Corinthians 13:10 refers to the King James Bible today spiritually...
and Jesus Christ Himself tomorrow - physically!

It makes sense to me - it fits and it works - and that is what I will preach!

THAT IS ALL WHY THE KING JAMES BIBLE
CAN BE PROVEN TO BE THE
FINAL AUTHORITY IN ALL MATTERS OF FAITH AND PRACTICE...

...because it is
That Which is Perfect!
