Learning the way of God more perfectly - Acts 18:

Tell Me the Real Story of Jesus
And Then Tell Someone Else, too!

The previous Sunday School class (last week - Vile part I) was all about how vile our flesh is and about all that Christ will do for us when we shall be fashioned like unto his glorious body..  (Philippians 3:21; I John 3:2; I Corinthians 15:51,52; II Corinthians 3:13-18; Romans 8:29; Genesis 1:27; 5:1,2; Matthew 22:30; Revelation 21:17; Matthew 28:9 with John 20:17; John 20:19,26; Luke 24:31; 41-43; Luke 24:39 & I Corinthians 15:50).

So today, let's look at what all transpires before we are fashioned like unto his glorious body.
Get our your Bible and look up each and very verse!
Learn this straight from the Book - KJV, of course!

God Himself
Let's remember that He - God Himself (Genesis 22:8) had to become manifest in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16) - that ole vile flesh, eh!  Such a thing, eh!  Meditate on that for awhile... and remember, it was all as previously planned before the foundation of the earth (Matthew 13:35; I Peter 1:20; Revelation 13:8)

Without Sin Until...
Fortunately for Him, He was not born of man's cursed seed (Genesis 3:15; Jeremiah 22:29,30; Luke 1:35) thus He was without sin! (Hebrews 4:15; 9:28).  He never was really totally one of us UNTIL he was put on the cross and became sin (II Corinthians 5:21) and was made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13)!  Then for those moments and three days (Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34; Psalm 22:1 along with Ephesians 4:9,10; Acts 2:27-32; Matthew 12:40; Psalm 16:10 and Jona 2:6), He truly became one of us and paid for the wages of sin and did what we would have to have done had we died in our sins (Ephesians 2:1,5;Colossians 2:13; I Peter 2:24)

NT
But Christ arose and onward and upward the story goes.  Sin was paid for - He had become sin for us (Romans 5:8; 8:26. 32, 34; I Corinthians 5:7; II Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13; Ephesians 5:2; I Thessalonians 5:9,10; Titus 2:13,14; Hebrews 9:12) and then paid the price - death!  (Romans 6:23).  It was then that another stage was finished (still there is so much more yet to come before the fullness of time arrives Ephesians 1:10) as stated in Hebrews 9:12-14 (not just finished in the garden John 17:4, nor on or after the cross John 19:28, 30; nor in and out of Hell Matthew 28:9 with John 20:17). THIS is when thus the true New Testament actually begins (Hebrews 9:15-26).

To Gentiles
Christ moves on to the Gentiles through Paul with a 'new gospel' as such in order to not only 'save' our souls but to 'deliver' us (Romans 7:6, 24; 8:21; II Corinthians 1:10; 4:11; Galatians 1:4; Colossians 1:13; I Thessalonians 1:10; II Thessalonians 3:2) dogs (Romans 10:19; Matthew 7:6; 15:26) out of the doghouse (Acts 26:15-18; Ephesians 1:15-19; 3:14-19; Philippians 1:9-11; Colossians 1:9-12).

True Gospel
This gospel to us (Acts 26: 16-18; Romans 11:11,13,20) is now called Paul's gospel (Ephesians 3:1-7; Galatians 1:11; Romans 2:16; 16:25; Acts 20:24; I Timothy 1:11; II Timothy 2:8) and is different than John's ministry of baptism for remission of sins (Mark 1:4; Acts 10:37; 13:24; 18:24-28; 19:3,4), the apostles doctrine (Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 2:38, 42) and Peter's early gospel of Acts 2:38; Galatians 2:7).  It is even different than Jesus' own gospel TO THE JEWS (John 18:36; Matthew 6:31,32; 10:5,18; 12:18-21; Romans 1:16; 3:2; Matthew 5-7, etc.)

In Us
The moment we are saved (Ephesians 1:12-14; Acts 9:18; John 5:9; Luke 19:11; 18:43; 13:13; 8:44; 5:13,25; 1:64 - bunny trail comment on immediately see Mark 4:17) Christ comes into us through the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9-11; John 14:16,17,23; I Corinthians 2:9-16; Galatians 2:20) made possible by the great circumcision made without hands (Colossians 2:11-14) - as He can not enter us until that vile body of the sins of the flesh are put off (Colossians 2:11; John 3:6a; 6:63; Isaiah 64:6; Romans 7:18; I Corinthians 15:42-50).

Fashioned Like Unto Him
Then, in the fulness of Gentiles (Romans 11:25) or in death (Hebrews 9:27) and after our judgment (Romans 14:10; I Corinthians 3:11-15; II Corinthians 5:10) - hopefully someday soon (I Peter 1:3,13,21; Titus 1:2; 2:13; 3:7; I Timothy 1:1; I Thessalonians 1:3; 2:19; Colossians 1:5,23,27; Romans 5:2)!

We will then be fashioned like unto his glorious body - when we shall be like him (Philippians 3:21; I John 3:2; I Corinthians 15:51,52; II Corinthians 3:13-18; Romans 8:29; Genesis 1:27; 5:1,2; Matthew 22:30; Revelation 21:17; Matthew 28:9 with John 20:17; John 20:19,26; Luke 24:31; 41-43; Luke 24:39 & I Corinthians 15:50).

Light of the World With Him
Depending on how we come out of the Judgment Seat, (Colossians 3:24,25) we will be children of light... (John 8:12; 9:5; Jude 24; II Timothy 3:17; Revelation 22:5; Philippians 3:20,21; II Corinthians 3:18; Exodus 34:29; I Corinthians 15:41,42; Daniel 12:3; I John 3:3).

Reign?
Based on our judgment seat 'rewards' our reigning Revelation 20:6; 22:5 (not "ruling," just reigning) will be based on our suffering (II Timothy 2:12) and our serving Him (Colossians 3:24)!

We ought to redeem the time... as we are running out of it!

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Colossians 4:5

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?
It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
James 4:14
