How
To Understand the King James 1611 Bible
This is a series of sermons for folks who think the King James Bible
is confusing, contradictory and archaic.
The KJB is not only the easiest bible to read, it is the easiest to
understand.
The KJB is God's Holy Scriptures and is the ONLY Holy Scripture!
Here is how it can be so simply understood:

sermon
After Paul
#1 - Scriptures
#2 - King James
Bible
#3 - Rightly dividing
the word of truth
#4 - Before Paul
-
the past (OT,
Gospels,
Great Commission)
#5 - Enter Paul
(Verses that show us to follow the Risen Christ through Paul's gospel)
These are the things listed that we
see in those books that folks today either misuse or mispreach thinking
that these are TO us, when in all obvious reality, these things are TO
the Jews during the Tribulation. These things were preached in more
detail in a series of sermons on Hebrews through Jude which are available
by going to the main page www.touchet1611.org
and clicking on the sermons for March and April, 2006.
THESE BOOKS ARE NOT TO US TODAY!
Yes, we tend to spiritualize this stuff, as we
do the OT,
but to take folks today to this doctrine for
tomorrow only confuses the Book for those folks!
For whatsoever things were written aforetime
were written for our learning,
that we through patience and comfort of
the scriptures
might have hope.
Romans 15:4
Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblings: for
they will increase unto more ungodliness.
II Timothy 2:15,16
A few thoughts that are worth noting concerning Hebrews
to Jude
- In the Time 'After' Paul -
-
1. Note where these books are located in your
KJB. The Bible is not in chronological order, but it is in dispensational
order!
-
2. Note to whom these books are addressed and
when they are taking place.
-
3. These books go against Paul's gospel (Galatians
1:8 when one considers the rules (Revelation
14:6-13 as well as the consequences for
not doing them correctly!
-
But if they don't know what Paul preaches, how would
they know?
-
4. 'Their own' faith will be important during
these times, it won't be 'the faith of Christ' as we have it today!
-
See Habakkuk 2:4;
Ephesians 4:5; Colossians 2:7
-
5. If these teachings are applied today, we
see great confusion in Bible readers as they can not pick and choose.
-
or they must throw out Paul and the KJB!
-
oh, ya - they already have done that, eh!
-
6. Christians that try to apply these things
today as written have no joy
-
they know they can not surrender it all and are at
the altar all the time
-
they are in constant guilt and confession.
-
They are confused about verses they have heard preached
but don't make sense.
-
They think horrible of themselves, they are never
content.
-
They know something is going wrong in their churches
and in America, but they don't know what it is.
-
7. Folks today do not appreciate the depth
of God's love and grace.
-
if they try to see, they just try harder to apply
these false teachings as truth TO themselves today.
-
8. Knowing Paul's gospel will save folks today
from suffering from "Tribulation Reaction" today.
-
It would give them a joy back in their reading and
study of the Bible.
-
They would learn to understand their personal war
with the flesh and yet still maintain a joy and peace!
-
They will understand apostasy these days...
-
...which can only add to their personal peace and
joy they get from their King James Bible.
-
9. Knowing how to rightly divide the OT,
Gospels, Acts, Romans to
Philemon, Hebrews to
Jude and
Revelation gives you concrete teachings
to your children so they can grow up in a world that will soon be having
a famine of hearing the words of the Lord!
-
Many folks are already experiencing that problem.
-
Praise the Lord we still have the Book in our homes.
-
10. Picking and choosing instead of
rightly
dividing:
a. confuses people!
b. shows a false need for a formal bible
education in order to 'understand' truth today!
c. convinces people that they can't understand
the Bible without their preacher / priest, etc.!
d. lifts the leaders above the Book!
e. builds churches of programs and "feely
good & fun" activities!
f. allows music to be the dominant factor
in church choice!
g. helps prepare folks for the world religion
in preparation for the antichrist in Revelation
6!
h. allows the false doctrines of today's
modern cults and "new christianity' to enter into their lives and these
folks will have no way to fight them off when they finally realize what
is going on!
i. brings the Gospels,
early Acts
all together with the Hebrews
to Jude
- and creates the teachings for Pentecostalistic behaviour - even among
KJ Bible Believers these days!
Here is a quick summary
of the general topics that are important TO the JEWS in the Tribulation
as found in Hebrews
through to Jude,
but NOT TO US today. Beware as these 'teachings' are showing up from
Rick Warren's false purposes to within our own KJB Believing churches today.
-
the "walk" and how it affects one's salvation and/or
fellowship
-
last days / last times / last time / unto the end
-
losing salvation - departing from the Living God
-
having to find grace and mercy as needed
-
faith - theirs is based on their patience during
tribulation in their walk
-
tithing under the threat of God's wrath - "He
will get His money one way or another!"
-
drawing nigh unto God or falling away
-
pentecostalism finds a lot of their stuff here:
being led by the heart, etc.
-
anointing
-
Chastening
-
judgment on certain serious sins
-
pastoral authority
-
joy, standing and prosperity of soul based on their
walk
-
a false power of prayer
-
being spirit led judging by your own heart
-
having a knowledge and prophecy ability 'without
the Book'
-
damnable teachings
-
soul being vexed by the world
-
confessing sins daily to get forgiveness
-
keeping commandments for one's salvation or fellowship
-
loving the brethren being important enough to affect
their salvation
-
divorce actually affecting one's salvation
-
overcomers by obediently following Jesus' footsteps,
etc.
-
defiling the flesh, etc.
-
importance of the flesh and the Spirit of God
Here are a 'few' verses
for us to consider tonight that show the differences from Paul's preachings
- and to show that these are NOT TO US TODAY, yet in most pulpits, you
will hear preachers preach these very verses!
There is a complete verse by verse summary that we did back in 2006
that covers Hebrews to Jude showing over and over that those books are
TO THE JEWS IN THE TRIBULATION. Click

The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
