www.scatteredchristians.org How
To Understand the King James 1611 Bible This is a series of sermons for folks who think the King James Bible
is confusing, contradictory and archaic. The KJB is not only the easiest bible to read, it is the easiest to
understand.
The KJB is God's Holy Scriptures and is the ONLY Holy Scripture!
#1 - Scriptures
#2 - King James Bible
#3 - Rightly dividing
the word of truth
Looking back at
the past to help us today as we look to the future!
In Time Past - But Now - In the
Ages to Come
For our learning, etc.
I Corinthians
10:11 -Now all these things happened
unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon
whom the ends of the world are come.
To understand that verse, read verses
1-14
FOR us but not
TO us!

Creation -
Genesis 1; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16; John 1:1
Sin -

soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every
mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Miracles, signs

even work!

So much to learn
from the Old Testament!
However, it is
not for our example; only our ensample!
example - to imitate
- one to follow
ensample - to
learn from, but not to copy
Gospels
History of Jesus to the Jews, in preparation
for the Gentiles later!
Still considered Old Testament in doctrine
Hebrews 9:16,17
-
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of
the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise
it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
The time that God was manifest in the
flesh
I Timothy 3:16
-And without controversy great
is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in
the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in
the world, received up into glory.
Deity of Christ
- the great issue even today!
I Timothy 3:16
The clearest verse
in the Bible proclaiming that Jesus Christ was God. The King James Bible
reading is humanized withthe
NIV: "HE appeared in a body".
The NIV twists
"God"
to "HE". "HE appeared in a body"?
So What? Everyone
has "appeared in a body"! "He" is a pronoun that refers to a noun
or antecedent.
There is no antecedent
in the context!
The statement
does NOT even make sense!
Philippians
2:6 - The
KJB again, clearly declares the deity of Jesus Christ: "Who,
being in the form of God, thought it not robbery TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD"
The NIV reads,
"Who, being in very nature God, DID NOT CONSIDER EQUALITY WITH GOD something
to be grasped,".
The NIV again
subtilty perverts the deity of Jesus Christ!
They are doing
what Romans 1:23
says - And changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,
etc.
The issue for
the Gospel time!
Was Jesus the
Son of God - their Messiah - the Christ, God, etc.?
Matthew 16:16
- And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou
art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
John 16:27-30
-For
the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed
that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into
the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. His disciples
said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any
man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
Acts 8:37 -
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And
he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Isaiah 9:6
- For unto us a child is born, unto us
a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his
name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace.
Virgin birth
Matthew 1:18
- Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on
this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they
came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
This King James
Bible - an identical issue today - is it the very word - words - of GOD?
Holy Scriptures?
I Corinthians
13:10?
Hebrews 4:8?
I Thessalonians
2:13?
Ephesians 6:17?
The mouth of God?
Face to face with
Jesus Christ?
ONLY KJB?
II Timothy
2:15?
II Timothy
3:16?
etc.
Jesus came to fulfil the law
Matthew 5:17
- Think not that I am come to destroy the
law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
They were told
not to go to the Gentiles - yet!
Matthew 10:5:
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into
the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Matthew 15:21-28
-
A Gentile woman
(Mark 7:26)
refused by Jesus
23:
But he answered her not a word.
24: But
he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house
of Israel.
25: Then
came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26:
But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread,
and to cast it to dogs.
Finished -
but only up to this point!
John 17
is Jesus' closing prayer concerning his completed mission on earth!

5:12 -
And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among
the people...

7 -
they kill Stephen
7:51-54 - Ye
stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the
Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not
your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of
the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and
murderers: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and
have not kept it. When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart,
and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
