| When
You Don't Make the Turn... |
Last week, we read about Jesus saying that it isn't what goes in that
defiles one's soul... it is what comes out from the heart.
Matthew 15:11 - Not
that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out
of the mouth, this defileth a man.
Matthew 15:18 -
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart;
and they defile the man.
Ok, so we know today that our soul can not be defiled, once it is cut
away - and belongs to the Lord...
But what goes in can still affect us - especially if we keep it up over
a period of time.
i.e. - music: can numb us, mix our minds with rhythms, teach
us false doctrine, dull senses, physically, mentally and spiritually!
