Pictures and Short Video Clips of Our Life in Western South Dakota

Wall Drug
Pictures just don't do this 'roadside attraction' justice.  Since 1931, during the depression with 'tourists' traveling across the hot & dry prairie, Wall Drug has given out free ice water and .05 coffee, etc.  You will notice the signs as you travel - some as far away as the other side of the world... that you are nearing an enjoyable place to stop - especially for the kids - to see how the life of cowboys and Indians truly were and still are, actually.

Parents, why leave your kids behind when you go on 'vacation' when you can take them with you and watch them have the time of their lives right here in Wall Drug as pardners or pardnerettes & see real Cowboys and Indians of the wild wild west!

Your personal door greeter!

Great shoes and clothing shops!

Sure glad we don't have these out here anymore!

There are a number of life-size wood / ceramic western scenes to enjoy!

There are thousands of 'original' photographs going back to the early prairie homestead days of the wild west and depression days, both cowboys and Indian history is presented - the best you will ever see.
The store is a great history course in itself if you view all the pictures and western art work!

Their Western Art Gallery is the largest in the world!
Their photograph collection is history right before your eyes!

More pictures of pictures and pictures and pictures...
