• Why so much music in our lives, anyway?  It robs folks of the Book and all that goes with it - which is everything!
• And this so-called 'Christian' music:  keyboards playing fake orchestra sound; weak harmony making fightless songs and syrupy texts; incomplete and emotional melodies, etc.  Any doctrinal quality is sadly lacking other than humanistic love and peace!
• Then we have CCM - the heavy stuff that is so obviously not 'Christian' by the music - even the doctrine is devilish!
• Music class of appreciation has given some an avenue to go deeper musically!
• Our music should be psalms, hymns and spiritual songs - along with Philippians 4:8 for 'our' music.
• King James Bible is God's perfect and purist music!
• We are about to learn about John Philip Sousa and how Japheth's music influenced America!

• Compare end of the world - Mark 16:15 with Acts 13:47 for Paul - ends of the earth!
• We have been reconciled with the Jews (Ephesians 2,3) so why just go backwards and do the Jewish commission?
• Not only agree with us in our preaching, teaching ... but also will be taking out the same message and teaching, etc.  Yes, it can be done -and folks can still be saved, but then they will be guided AFTER their salvation!  It doesn't have to be like a "river two miles wide but only an inch deep." - Dr. Seruyange - African Missionary.
• See I Thessalonians 1:5-10 to see that it is Christ through Paul that we should be taking to the ends of the earth.

• And it will take money - and you folks have been good - as have some of the website family folks.  Everything helps - even those mighty mites that come in along with those big ones.  You folks have been good to keep the Lord's work going during these tough days for all financially!

• Ephesians 4 is also the great pattern for a family - see my tract on "Beyond the Crucifixion."
• I will teach and preach that there are roles for mom and dad - even if they seem to be pretty much out of order today - reversed, in more and more cases and in some, non-existent of any kind of roles - people are too willing to just let the government/someone else do it all for them!
• Proverbs shows us how a husband and wife differ in their design and how it can actually cause problems within the home if one is not aware of that.  It is the mother who is despised by her children - it is a mother who is chased away and wants to get out - it is the mother who becomes bitter and it is the mother who wears heavy the burden of the children.  The dad is just shamed, loses his joy, gets mocked and cursed by his children and ends up with double calamity in having both an unhappy wife AND kids in a mess!
• We must learn more in how to train and protect our children and help protect our grandchildren from themselves (II Timothy 2:23-26).  Too many kids just get the way they want - they do know how to work their parents!
• We must also try to protect them from the subtle attack and deceitfulness of the devices of the devil, more and more preparing the antichrist to make himself known to a ready and willing people - many of whom will even be calling themselves Christians!  Will our kids know what a REAL Christian is?
• Not just make our kids grow up 'doing right' but to also understand the importance and attack on truth itself.
• How to fight the battle - 1st show them the true battle, then prepare them and help them at first, etc.
• We must prepare them what is ahead - just like the Jews did for their children - and still do!  Teach them to know about it, be aware, and yet live a life that pleases God, knowing that it will not be an easy one as we tend to try to show them 'how' to prepare for an easy life, etc.! II Timothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
• Parents either allow the public government schools destroy their kids, or it seems more and more Christians are destroying their kids themselves in homeschool.
• Parenting is becoming more and more pathetic - and there are lots of reasons and variations of that 'charge.'  Often it is nobody's particular fault, but most don't want to try to fix the situation, either. These are all part of the perilous times that we live in - a time of unnatural love in more ways than one.
• Training girls to be girls, boys to be boys, etc. and by being their example...
• No doubt, It is hard today - Isaiah 3
• Today - the home if full of bad language, addictions of all kinds, raging tempers, media centered play; big boy toys, splendor and spoilness, immodesty, materialistic madness, laziness, slothfulness, selfish, pride, glorying of our past, incorrect teachings/false gospel and folks that are just too busy and too concerned about the cares and riches and pleasures of this life - al of which will bring no fruit to perfection. and chokes the word of God as well as the word of parents to their children.  (Luke 8:14).  - and little or no KJB - but in many cases, plenty of church!
• It seems that families today have too much of this deadly combination as stated in Ezekiel 16:49  Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
• Remember - Luke 17:28,29 -  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Will your kids get out before the big burn day?  Will you?
• God, through Christ, through the Holy Spirit and through the teachings of Paul's gospel, we can all still get out - II Peter 2:7 - And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  It is His justness that what we need, not ours!

Bible, Not Us!
The Bible, not us, will work effectually in them that believe! I Thessalonians 2  We plant and water - and THAT IS ALL!

Preaching/Teaching
Preaching must have teaching and teaching must have preaching! Ephesians 4:11

II Timothy 2:23-26 is and if not already, must become essential in our witness - whether verbal or visual, whether in the streets or in the home or at the table... - Only by pride cometh contention - let them get angry at us, but not us at them!  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

We must live what we say!
Galatians 2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Philippians 1:20 - According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
I Thessalonians 4:1 - Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

Be Patient
And we must remember that it took us a long time to get to this point and we have NOT YET ATTAINED, either!

Finally - remember the Bible makes direct mention of the word GRACE 73 times in Paul's epistles.  This is called the dispensation of grace - and we can not forget that!  Thank the Lord for His grace and mercy towards us as well as others who have tried to teach us things in the past!
