Another Sermon for the Starving Bible Believing Christians All Over the World Wide Web
2005 - Touchet Baptist Church, Touchet, Washington - Pastor Mike Paulson - 2005
Expounding the way of God more perfectly - Acts 18:26 - with the Scriptures Rightly Divided - II Timothy 2:15

What Time Is It?
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:26

Don't get caught by the signs of the times - especially if they are wrongly divided 'signs!'

Hypers miss this stuff because they stick to Paul ONLY - and I mean ONLY!
Some hypers even get to hyper grace with music and liberty abusing, etc.

"Times" in the Bible - very interesting - and easily confused and misplaced dispensationally, thus the constant need of rightly dividing.

Daniel 12:7 - And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Parables

Time of harvest!
From Matthew 13:24-30, see specifically Matthew 13:30 - Let both grow together until the harvest (end of the world): and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers (angels), Gather ye together first the tares (not wheat, one can tell the difference in wheat and weeds - tares are imitations!), and bind them in bundles to burn them (UN, ecumenicalism, 'modern church movement,' music - CCM and all that falls out of is - bluegrass fruit, etc. , Purpose Driven, Alpha, Cane, Willow and Bully creeks, etc.): but gather the wheat (supping with Christ, KJV, preaching, and then rapture) into my barn.

Time of the fruit!
From Matthew 21:33-46, see specifically Matthew 21:34 - And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
about Israel's inheritance
householder - God
servants - prophets
more servants - minor prophets
vineyard - Israel & Judah
powder - Daniel 2:35,45

Quickies

Time of figs!
From Mark 11:12-14, see specifically Mark 11:13 - And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Time of incense!
Zacharias - Luke 1:10 -  And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.

Time of thy visitation!
See 43 for 'who' - Luke 19:44 - And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Time of the promise!
Acts 7:17 -  But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,  (What are our promises TO us... do you know any?)

Time of need!
Hebrews 4:16 -  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace (KJB, Holy Spirit, prayer, supping, etc. - Kingdom of God today), that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Today - Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
And often time it is through the brethren - I John 3:17 - But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?  That may not be TO us, but it certainly is for us - that is what Christians are suppose to do!

Confusing to some...

Time of the dead!
Revelation 11:18 - And the nations were angry (Rev 20:8,9), and thy wrath is come (Rev 20:9), and the time of the dead (Rev 20:11,12), that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, (Israel - Dan 7:18) and them that fear thy name (we don't have to fear His name, we have to believe on his name) ..., small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

The White Throne is not only for the 'lost.'  This is referring to Tribulation and Millennial saints who have 'endured', and will be rewarded at the White Throne.  This is why the 'books are opened' issue appears in Rev 3:5; 22:19.  This is why Matthew, Acts and Hebrews says what it says about losing salvation, etc.  This is NOT applied to church age as many say - Rev 12:16, 14:12; 22:14, Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16, etc.

Revelation 14:6,7 - 'fear God' - we don't have to fear, we have to believe on the name of ...  Our name is already in the book of life and can not be removed, so it doesn't need to be checked... Phil 4:3.

Time of reformation!
See Hebrews 9:6-10 but specifically Hebrews 9:10 -Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings (baptisms {baptisimous} of objects, too - Leviticus 6,11,13,14), and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.  1st Coming of Christ as the real High Priest - Hebrews 3:1-2

Times of restitution!
Acts 3:(19-21) 21 - Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.  2nd Coming of Christ as King of Kings!  Not until Acts 1:11; Zechariah 14:1-12.

Times of refreshing!
Acts 3:19 - Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your (Israel) sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
See Jeremiah 50:20; Isaiah 46:2; Amos 9:14,15; Hebrews 9:10 and Paul talks about it in Romans 11:26-28.
Pentecostals and Great Commission folks grab and claim this for today!  Of course, it is in early Acts!

Too bad He didn't come when He offered - the Jews blew that one - but that certainly was to our advantage!

Times of ignorance!
See Acts 17:22-31, but specifically Acts 17:30 - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  And also Genesis 5:1-3...

Times of Gentiles
Luke 21:24 - And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Fullness of Gentiles!
Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Fullness of time!
1st coming:
Galatians 4:4 - But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Historically, to the Jews - spiritually to us.
Final coming:
Ephesians 1:10 - That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
End of it all.  Revelation 21; Acts 3:21; Ephesians 1:7-14

Fulness of God!
Ephesians 3:19 - And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Fulness of Christ!  (see Colossians 2:9)
Ephesians 4:13 - Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Colossians 2:9 - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
to the "church" - Ephesians 1:23 - Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Today

Hour of Temptation:
Revelation 3:10,11 - Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 3:18 - I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Time of temptation!
Luke 8:13 - They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Time of my departure!
II Timothy 4:6 - For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

When it comes to be YOUR time, will you be ready?

Will you have followed Christ by following Paul -
or will you have been deceived by ignorance of Rightly Dividing the Times?

If so, you are following vain babblings which leads to an increase of ungodliness!
even if it is doing right wrong!
