Acts 27 - swimming
or floating?
Rightly Dividing right on down to the very words and
letters!
Introduction |
Why don't folks think about the land of UZ, the home of Job, who was perfect and upright? (Job 1:1)
The problem with folks today is not the KJV, it is with TV!
I will be showing excerpts from The Language of the King James Bible, G. Riplinger at www.avpublications.com and it is with the blessing and permission from the author that this material is used in detail and in direct quote. |
It is time for us to expand our own vocabulary by learning FROM the King James Bible instead of those who dummy down the KJB because they were dummied down themselves with their formal education! (not including those educated wolves who purposely tear the KJB to bits - being used of the Devil to prepare the devils army. Revelation 16:14 - We are just trying to help those well-meaning but deceived graduates of today's Bible colleges as well as those church goers who have been convinced by their 'edjukated' pastors and reverends that they need to know the Greek in order to get these KJV words clarified.)
When a word is heard or read, the mind immediately goes on a brain hunt to recover from the memory all previous files containing that word. The pages in these files are pictures, taken by our senses, during our previous exposures to that word. Together, a composite picture of 'meaning' emerges, painted by our own personal experiences. (If every dog you met bit you, the word 'dog' would elicit a meaning to you molded by your experience, less by the dictionary's definition.)Even though the world control the thinking of it's people, we know we can instead turn to the KJB to allow God to get involved with our thinking! The KJB contains God's own built-in-dictionary so that cultural, regional, personal and devilish views moving through history do not sift out or God's intended meanings for words. Psalm 12:6,7
New versions, on the other hand, substitute a word packed by our culture, etc. that is packed with vile connotations and meanings. Modern words today conjure up pictures of TV, movies, etc. in the mind of the average person.
It has been documented that that there does exist the use of NIV/NKJV words subliminally embedded and accompanied by grotesque and pornographic imagery in virtually all forms of media! G Riplinger
Instead, we should be able to see even more the workings of the King James Bible in us - along with the Holy Spirit, etc. An understanding will come as we learn about the 'details' of swimming even deeper with the King James Bible.
The Bible is more than just a "book with the Holy Spirit in it" - it has been designed specifically by God Himself. We can not and should not and are commanded to not mess with one word!
Many folks have even learned to read from reading their King James Bible only! There is one story of a prisoner who went from 5th grade reading when he first went to prison and in one year, he was reading at the 17th grade level.
Let us strive to learn that:
1. Looking at the word next to the word in question.
2. Looking at the words in the verse.
3. Looking in the next or preceding verse.
4. Reading beginning at the paragraph mark; reading the entire
chapter.
5. Changing the pronunciation.
6. Trying colloquial pronunciations.
7. Changing the spelling in your mind.
8. Looking inside the word.
9. Looking for parallelism.
10. Looking for opposites.
11. Looking at the context.
12. Looking at the root words inside the word.
13. Seeing the progressive build-up as a way to receive understanding
of the meaning of words.
14. Observe which type of definition is being given.
15. Looking at the verse numbers.
16. Watching for onomatopoeia, that is, words that imitate the
sound of the word.
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
Psalm 29:4
