The Seriousness
of Sobermindedness
|
Because of our time restraints within our home as we pack to make the
move to SD, here is just the basic outline of this sermon.
The words of truth and soberness!
Acts 26:25
Sober: habitually temperate; as a sober man; Not
mad or insane; not wild, visionary or heated with passion; having the regular
exercise of cool dispassionate reason; Regular; calm; not under the
influence of passion; Serious; solemn; grave;
Not to think highly of ourselves but to think soberly!
Romans 12:3
Be beside ourselves, it is to God - we be sober, it is for our cause!
We are all called to be sober minded in our thoughts and living.

The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
