The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"

Part VIII
How should a serious Christian
see the King James Bible?
Part VI
Today, only through the King James 1611 Bible,
these are the words that we should:
-
HAVE FOR OUR STRENGTH
-
We can grow in strength!
-
Acts 9:22 - But
Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt
at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
-
Acts 18:23 And
after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the
country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
-
As a lost person, we were without strength - No
KJB!
-
Romans 5:6 - For
when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
-
The law
-
the strength of sin
-
I Corinthians 15:56 -
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
-
We have no more law...
-
Romans 10:4 - For
Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
-
We can be pressed above strength
-
II Corinthians 1:8 - For
we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to
us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch
that we despaired even of life:
-
But with trust in the Book - with prayer and the
action of the people...
-
II Corinthians 1:9-11
- But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust
in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from
so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver
us; Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed
upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our
behalf.
-
Sufficient grace!
-
II Corinthians 12:9 -
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is
made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in
my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
-
Strengthened by the KJB, today!
-
Ephesians 3:16 - That
he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened
with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
-
"Things through Christ" or "Christ?"
-
Philippians 4:13 -
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
-
According to His glorious power...
-
Colossians 1:11 - Strengthened
with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and
longsuffering with joyfulness;
-
Note: No power of God for us to manipulate and use
ourselves.
-
Acts 26:18 - To
open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan unto God,
-
II Corinthians 4:7-11
- But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of
the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side,
yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but
not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the
body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be
made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death
for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in
our mortal flesh.
-
Today, it is all the Book!
-
I Corinthians 2:5 - That
your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
-
I Corinthians 1:18 - For
the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto
us which are saved it is the power of God.
-
I Corinthians 1:24
- But unto
them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and
the wisdom of God.
-
Paul and the King James Bible today!
-
II Timothy 4:17 -
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me
the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear:
and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
