• No wonder there is sorrow and hatred towards that Book today.
• "Reprove" - 1828 definition
• blame expressed to the face
• censure for a fault
• to manifest a fault
• to refute
• to excite a sense of guilt
• Modern definition - much more negative...
• to speak severely to (someone) about a fault
• It can't be a 'person' that is the source of reproving...
• Who are you?
• Galatians 6:1 - Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
• How about a preacher - parent, teacher, etc.
• II Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
• I Thessalonians 5:12,13 - And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
• Reprove the works of darkness, not join up with them!
• Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
• What is the light?  The KJB today!
• Ephesians 5:13 - But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
• Our soul is unreproveable, but not the flesh!
• Colossians 1:22 - In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
• Judgment Seat of Christ will judge our works!

• This reminds us of the purpose of the Law!
• Galatians 3:23-25 - But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
• Romans 7:6-9 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
• The world today doesn't hear their need for Christ.
• Judgment - based on truth and a Holy God!
• Goodness of God based on the law, showing His goodness of what He did on the cross and the importance of it all.

• He was "that" righteousness!
• Romans 10:3 - For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
• II Timothy 3:16 -All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
• Instruction in the way of the Risen Christ - through Paul's teachings to us!

• By Jesus Christ, but with Paul's gospel!
• Romans 2:16 - In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

• Will not endure sound doctrine!
• II Timothy 4:3,4
• Itching ears?
• Paul's doctrine, then the walk!
• Build the foundation before the walls, etc.
• I Corinthians 3:10 - According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
• II Timothy 4:10 - For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica.
• Grace, truth, mercy, longsuffering, patience, prayer, tears, avoid, etc.; reject and send to the world!

• Will it be the (1) KJB, (2) preaching or (3) our heart that will guide us into all truth?
• KJB? - I Corinthians 13:10 -  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away... For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
• We can know that Book as well as we can know Paul!
• The more we 'read' Paul and get to know him, we can know the truth!
• Read his life in Acts 9-28
• Get to know not only his doctrine and deeds, we can learn what he did - his affairs of life and manner of life!
• Ephesians 6:21 - But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
• II Timothy 3:10 - But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
• Preaching?  Titus 1:3 - But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
• Our heart?  Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
• It all comes down to the KJB; it has it all!
• See/hear the sermon "Preaching Over the Book."

• Is the 'shall take of mine' referring to his teachings in the gospels?
• Pentecostals glorify the Spirit - or the Jesus of the gospels - with their flesh!
• American Christians glorify themselves and what their magic Jesus will do for them, etc. and to their flesh!

That KJB tells us what the Gospel Jesus did on the earth AND what the Risen Christ did to us and for us - AND then what we can for him in return in our flesh.
