Now all these things
happened unto them for ensamples:
In the Gospels "FOR" Us?
and they are written for
our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
I Corinthians 10:11
whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,
we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Remember, the Gospels are still in the Old Testament
from the Gospels that are misapplied today!
Gospels are not TO us!
However, there is plenty within the Gospels FOR us!
- Did 'mom' not listen to her Son?
She told the servants,
"Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it."
- In His response, Jesus had to be talking about his crucifixion hour,
not the hour for his first miracle.
2:40-51 and his 'parents.'
He was doing His
Father's business over his 'parents' awareness (48-49).
did not understand! (50)
I wonder why not?
Mary - Luke
His mother did
not forget 'His business' and brought him up accordingly. (51)
He does His first
miracle - making wine out of water at a wedding.

Today is not the
time to argue about whether wine is ok or not. It should be obvious
to the sincere Christian that the Scriptures do not ok fermented/booze
and more Christians have fallen for the media generated 'healthy' element
of fermented wine, etc.
here is a cultural, not historic!
Today we have
a difficult time visualizing "adults' drinking grape juice at a wedding
rather than alcoholic wine.
Even we Christians
have bought into the 'adult beverage' propaganda.
The world has
been very sly in presenting sin as 'adult.'
This mind set
has been implanted in our heads through decades of television and through
our degenerated cultural morals. This causes us to superimpose the
social standards of the 20th century over top of this scene from the first
century. We say to ourselves, "In America, 'everybody' drinks booze
at a wedding, therefore, they must have been drinking booze at the wedding
mentioned in John 2.
In spite of
our natural bent toward viewing everything this way, we must pay attention
to the fact that there have been many changes in social norms over the
Today, we say,
"He cusses like a sailor!' yet, the Continental Army that defeated
the British in the American revolution did not curse!
while president, George Washington wrote a letter to military leaders urging
them not to allow the practice of cursing to take hold in our military
as it was in the armies of the world at that time.
Can you imagine
a solider not cussing today? Can you imagine adults sitting around at a
wedding drinking grape juice?
No - but they
In other words,
wine in the bible doesn't have to mean fermented just because we say it

changers 'in the church' today
dove - the symbol
(and cross) of modern Christianity
See SBC magazine
on '"Where are the Men?"
begun by a carpenter and 12 male disciples has lost its appeal to the men
of our generation."
for every 10
men in the 'average church'
9 will have
kids who leave the church
5 have a major
problem with pornography
4 will divorce,
affecting a million children a year
only 1 will
have a biblical worldview
does that leave for finding a Paul man?)
choruses laced with lyrics akin to love songs.
put down a sword and picked up a daisy.
He is no longer
a warrior; he is a lover...
Think of the
mental gymnastics that must take place inside a man's subconscious as he
sings today's 'feel good' lyrics.
He is being
made to express his love to Jesus Christ using words no man would dare
say to another man.
The move is
to bring the church back to men.
My comments now
- Paulson - these comments will NOT be found in the SBC magazine, of course!
is doing his deceptive work -
He has taken the
strong man down and out of the home and Bible Believing church...
foundations being the real Risen Christ & a KJB1611 Bible by presenting
a perverted Gospel/Corrupted Bible and teachings from.., etc.
Now going to bring
the metro-man back to an imitation church with a false gospel and an imitation
this new 'church' and 'teaching' is as corrupt as their doctrine!
couldn't have happened if the men hadn't been duped!
Men don't have
the stuff to be men today within the church!
Of those one
who have a biblical worldview, how much of that man is following Paul?
“All men make
mistakes, but a good man yields when he knows his course is wrong, corrects
his course and repairs the evil. The only sin is pride.”
That is what Paul
is all about!
The real man changing
his wrong course to the right one - Paul's manner of life - a lifestyle
that we should know by now and have had the freedom to strive for it in
our family and church!!
4:9 - Those things, which ye have both
learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace
shall be with you.
3:10 - But thou hast fully known my doctrine,
manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
4:17 - For this cause have I sent unto
you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall
bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every
where in every church.
- The zeal of thine house hath eaten
That was to the
- For the zeal of thine house hath eaten
me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon
and 'to' us today...
- For I bear them record that they have
a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
- Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand
my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
14:12 - Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are
zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the
9:2 - For I know the forwardness of your
mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready
a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
- They zealously affect you, but not well;
yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
- Who gave himself for us, that he might
redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people,
zealous of good works.
Of course - Jesus
knew they all had to see 'a sign.'
John 4:48 -
said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
1:22 - For the Jews require a sign, and
the Greeks seek after wisdom:
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works
of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God,
that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him,
What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost
Destroy the temple
It was his choice
Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and
he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
His body - temple
Today - we are
the temple of God!
6:19 - What? know ye not that your body
is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?
- Now therefore ye are no more strangers
and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household
of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building
fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom
ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
verse to prove
their doubts after Christ rose were not necessary!
afraid; idle tales; believed them not; wondering in himself (Peter); terrified,
affrighted, supposed that they had seen a spirit; believed not for joy,
Sin dwelleth in
Of course Christ
couldn't be in them!
He couldn't be
in us if it weren't for...
is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...
