The
Entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"
That's
what Rightly Dividing is!

Now all these things happened
unto them for ensamples:
and they are written for
our admonition,

The Heart
of the Wise Teacheth His Mouth
Proverbs
16:23
Wisdom from the Mouth
of God
About the Practical Affairs of Everyday
Life.
King
Solomon
II Samuel
12:24 - And David comforted Bathsheba his
wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he
called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
II Chronicles
1:10-12 - Give me now wisdom and knowledge,
that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this
thy people, that is so great? And God said to Solomon, Because this was
in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor
the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked
wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over
whom I have made thee king: Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee;
and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the
kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after
thee have the like.
I Kings
4:29, 30 - And God gave Solomon wisdom
and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand
that is on the sea shore. And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all
the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
I Kings
4:34 - And there came of all people to
hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard
of his wisdom.
.I
Kings 10:23,24 - So king Solomon exceeded
all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth
sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart
II Chronicles
9:22 - And king Solomon passed all the
kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. And all the kings of the earth
sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in
his heart.
I Kings
10:4-8 - And when the queen of Sheba had
seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built, And the meat
of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his
ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which
he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own
land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. Howbeit I believed not the words, until
I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me:
thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. Happy
are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before
thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

Wisdom today comes
from the rightly divided word of truth. II
Timothy 2:15,16
-
We are told to
follow Paul for our wisdom, as his wisdom comes from the RISEN CHRIST,
to be taught to us.
-
I Corinthians
11:1 - Be ye followers of me, even as I
also am of Christ.
-
Philippians
3:17 - Brethren, be followers together
of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
-
Then, with I
Corinthians 13:10, we see wisdom would
contained within the King James Bible as the word of truth today - and
that also must be rightly divided!
Paul
says:
-
Romans 11:33
- O the depth of the riches both
of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!
But not with
man's words!
-
I Corinthians
1:17-20 - For Christ sent me not to baptize,
but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ
should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them
that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of
God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will
bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where
is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish
the wisdom of this world?
Neither did
Paul use trick words of man's wisdom, etc.
-
I Corinthians
2:1 - And I, brethren, when I came to you,
came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the
testimony of God.
-
I Corinthians
2:4-8 - And my speech and my preaching
was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the
Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of
men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are
perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world,
that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even
the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they
would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
-
I Corinthians
2:13-15 - Which things also we speak, not
in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth;
comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth
not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he
that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
-
I Corinthians
3:19, 20 - For the wisdom of this world
is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their
own craftiness...
20
- ...And again, The Lord
knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
