Review Reconciliation from previous week.

Mystery Revealed
We are to present a Mystery Revealed that has everything to do with Reconciliation - far more than just 'soul-winning' and 'church building!'

It is to be our ministry to see that folks would hear not only about salvation and reconciliation but also a mystery concerning the Jews that is now being made available to Gentiles.  Ephesians 2:11-22

Ephesians 3:1-12 - more specifically verses 5,6 - Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;  That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Colossians 1:25  Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect¹ in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working², which worketh in me mightily.

¹And that perfected life doesn't come easy!!!
Ephesians 4:12,13 - For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Colossians 4:12 - Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
I Thessalonians 3:10 - Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
II Timothy 3:17 - That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Colossians 3:14 - And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Philippians 3:12 - Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:3 - Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Folks, listen - We can get so caught up on the 'finished product' that you miss the joy of the journey!

For the 'finished' life - when that does come... Hebrews 9:27 ; Jude 24.

²Galatians 2:20,21  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

from His words, to the Holy Spirit, to the Scriptures (today, being the KJB).

Uncircumcision vs circumcision - the division no longer exists
Galatians 5:6 - For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Galatians 6:14-16 - But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
II Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And don't forget the 'present' status of the Jews - read Romans 11.
