The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"

Do
We Ever Respond Properly? |
When we have 'left' something - and/or 'stopped' doing something that
we have learned is wrong, etc. and it comes up again with family, friends,
etc., how do we respond to it all? Do we want to appear that we support
it? Do we want to bash it and not attend? Is there any Scriptural
advice from Paul in how to handle these things?
Quit TV - or even just cut back to be in your control?
Quit the movies?
Quit drinking?
Quit wearing immodest clothes?
Quit swearing?
Quit going places you know you should not go?
Do you know the dangers of public school?
Do you know the dangers of homeschooling?
Quit the Great Commission and the 'common church' scene today?
What do you do when you are asked to partcipate or even just attend,
etc.now that you yourself are out of it?
Look at Acts 19:21-27
Note verse 27!
-
We are to stop giving them our money!
-
We are to despise that activity!
-
We are to destroy the magnificance of it all!
Isn't it just the religion that we are to do those things with?
-
No - read Revelation 18 and you will
see that that religion has permeated into all of society!
What do we do instead of what we should do?
-
Do we still give them our business?
-
Do we despise knowing what their 'activity' does to others - especially
those that you care about - including the Great Commission if taught TO
us today!
-
Do we destroy the magnificance of it all?
-
sports
-
girls
-
goys
-
theater
-
schools
-
fancy churches
-
kids activities that do not please God
-
input from lost people - including family!
-
fashions
-
houses
-
computer games
-
movie stars, etc.
-
Do we glorify that stuff 'even though we know we can't do those things?'
-
Do we wonder still in awe about those things?
-
Do we 'wish we could' still do them so others can hear us 'whine' about
'doing right?'
-
Do we support 'behind the scenes' without being involved?
-
Do we let kids 'taste it?'
-
Do we keep their business going by our participation?
-
Have we been subtly trained to think ecumenically?
-
Do we extend grace while ignoring liberty strings?
We must still use wisdom and rebuke, reprove, correct
and instruct in righteousness.

-
It is Christ that offends automatically
-
It is the KJB that offends automatically!
Paul didn't try to shame others!
We must be sincere - not just brain led!
