Putting
the Brethren in Remembrance
of Paul's
Ways
|
Part III
We tend to forget those people and those things and those places that we
are actually suppose to avoid. This is a reminder of those:
The previous sermon talked about how we have gotten tired of watching
people get stirred around us because of who we are and what we say and
believe. True, there are many who are striving and making scenes
that are not right. Very simply, we are not to strive. We are
not to offend folks, etc. However, the KJB will cause contention
and will cause people to be offended - that we cannot help and we are not
told to back off for those reasons.
So, if we can not follow the plan according to Paul, we eventually come
to a time when we must remove ourselves from places and/or people, no matter
what itis and who they are.
I have found that this is the part of following the Risen Saviour through
Paul that 'the brethren' are not doing well with.
