"Receive" - Adoption / Reignage

Introduction
This is a carry over from SS class as we look past just 'book/chapter/verse and look slowly into each verse for the rightly divided word "Receive."

Short outline of the a.m. sermon:

I.  Spirit of Adoption
The wrong dividers out there in the land of modern Christianity along with the apostasizing bible believing brethren are putting their folks into bondage of fear.
Romans 8:15
    Bondage to the law, to men's commandments, fear, etc.
    Bondage to their 'unknown God,' their own church folks, their own pastor, etc.
    Bondage within their own home living to obey out of fear, etc.

Instead, we have received the spirit of adoption!
ABBA, Father - term of endearment such as 'dad,' 'Baba,' 'Papa,' (unfortunately, the catholics get 'pope' from their own private interpretation)

We are able to be 'close' to the Lord - we don't need to 'try' to make Hebrews 4:16 fit - Paul takes care of that for us!  And with Paul, it is rightly divided.  Hebrews is to the Jews during the Tribulation.

II.  Reign
Romans 5:17 - then read all verses from 12-21

We can reign in life - today!  We don't have to 'wait' until the Millennium.
Or we can let sin reign... sin that is controlled by the devil and devils, etc.  Ephesians 6:12

See I Corinthians 4:6-16 for Paul's 'mini-sermon' to the spiritual leaders of the day that do NOT go with Paul!  They may think they are reigning at that time, but it is a false reignage.  To reign properly today is to follow Paul!

Romans 15:12 - Christ is to reign in our lives... so in that case - today, the time of post I Corinthians 13:10...

...how do we reign in our life today?
...how do we live close to the Lord as adopted sons?
