The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"

A
Sincere Christian's Faith
Promises from the Risen Christ to Paul to
us through the Spirit of God and the King James Bible! |
Part I
Every promise in the Book is NOT mine, mine, mine,
but the promises from Paul's Epistles ARE all ours, ours, ours!
In this series, we will attempt to find those promises that will allow
us to have true and joyful hope knowing that by faith, these promises are
all true..
Paul doesn't promise physical abundance
-
this is a cursed world.
-
a crooked and perverse nation / world.
-
a world that is without Christ, but being prepared for the antichrist.
-
with more and more miracles, signs and lying wonders
-
increase of false teachings - even from Jesus' teachings themselves!
-
a world that is full of aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers
from the covenants of promises.
-
a world that HATES Israel and any country who tries to help it!
-
a world that has no hope and is totally without God.
-
a world that walks in the vanity of their mind
-
has it's understanding darkened
-
alienenated form the life of God
-
ignorant towards God's way
-
blinded heart and mind
-
past feeling
-
given itself over to lasciviousness
-
works all uncleanness and greediness
-
a world who's philosophies, traditions and rudiments are not after Christ
-
a world that rejects Paul's gospel but is willing to follow any other gospel
if it preaches peace and happiness - and riches!
-
a world that it's first love is money
-
thus we see a world full of temptations and snares
-
many foolish and hurtful lusts
-
men drowning in destruction and perdition
-
people erring from the faith
-
people and nations that have pierced themselves through with many sorrows!
-
ETC.
Promises TO US from our following Paul...
Acts 26:18,20
-
opened eyes
-
unless your heart is waxed gross, and your ears are dull of hearing, and
your eyes have closed; lest at any time you should see with your eyes,
and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart,
-
turned from darkness to light
-
unless you still love darkness more than light!
-
turned from the power of Satan unto God
-
unless you are more interested in the POWER of God instead of the living
God Himself
-
receive forgiveness of sins
-
unless you are satisfied with remission and confession, etc.
-
receive an inheritance - joint-heir with God's chosen people
-
unless you want your reward now!
-
doing work meet for repentance and pleasing God
-
unless you would still rather do it your way - Burger King Religion...
- no hope in God's way, so you want to do it yours.
