Amos
A
very similar description as is America today - but thankfully, we don't
have to fear this judgment as a nation. Well, if we are saved, anyway.
Otherwise, the judgment of God is a fearsome thing. Read about what
Amos says about it as he tried to warn Israel along with other nations. |

Are
We Ready for What's Next?
Ok, now that we are officially
no longer a Baptist church but instead a church that unashamedly follows
Paul's gospel by rightly dividing the King James Bible, what can we expect
next? Once again, read a few of the things that only Paul preached
- and just wonder with us why it is that folks get so mad at folks who
follow Paul, just as the Scriptures command. |

So
What Is Next?
So if we try to turn and
serve a living God in the manner that Paul teaches, we will to fight the
fight of faith. And it is a good fight, by the way, and it is the
right fight! Let's look an see how Paul handled those fights.
There are some verses here that should be very encouraging to anyone struggling
with trying to change their lives to fit Paul's teachings and being hassled
or rejected by their friends and family. |

Are
We Really Such Deceivers & Evil Doers?
II
Timothy 2:9
Suddenly we are looked
upon as deceivers and evil doers just because we no longer claim the Baptist
title and unashamedly try to serve the living God according to Paul?
Really? Are we really deceivers and evil doers? So, tonight
we look at verses that warn about evil and ask the question, "Are these
verses directed to us?" This is a long sermon, but there is
plenty in it that could help many families out there today. |

Obadiah
We
see here what has happened to Edom. We can also see something very
important for us today - not 'to' us, but 'for' us. |

Jesus
Paid It All!
Yes,
All!
We struggle so unnecessarily
to try to walk a perfect walk so that we can have fellowship and salvation
with God. Even many of my Bible Believing friends are sounding more
and more like the modern Christian who doesn't quite believe that Christ
paid it all. They say there is chastisement, fear of God's judgment
these days, etc. but Paul does not preach that message? This is just
a review of all that can remind us that Jesus really did pay it all! |

Why
So Many Are Miserable Today!
Originally intended as
Part II to the morning sermon Jesus Paid It All, God shows us why so many
Christians are miserable these days. We read in the Scriptures
that all things are lawful; but are they? We do hear more solid evidence
and instruction on all that Jesus paid for - and how He made possible for
us to not 'worry' about sin like so many preach about - but we also hear
how NOT to be miserable these days. |

Learning
How to Learn?
What have we learned?
What are our children learning? Do we teach our kids the things that
they shouldn't learn? Are we even teaching them how to learn?
If not, the world - the god of this world will teach them - and they will
be willing to learn. If we are just teaching our kids to 'do' right,
are we also teaching them how to learn? Most homeschoolers I have
seen only know to 'do,' but they have little ability to learn anything
from the Bible itself; maybe that is because they have just followed the
example of their parents? |

Jonah
What
more can we get out from Jonah than the popular story of Jonah and the
whale? How about another proof text about Christ going to Hell...
and how God even thought of Gentile people even in Jonah's days. |

After

The Light of Eternity
We look at the light of
eternity that is established after the Judgment Seat of Christ and what
our role in that will can be. Very unique concept and thoughts here.

Being
Drawn Away
Introduction
We all can still be drawn
away from the truth - from doing right, etc. Just who are these folks
and what are the things that can draw us away. In fact, we don't
have to 'push' our kids out - they can be drawn away. Paul warns
us about these, them, and that which can draw away. May we take heed
to these things before it is too late! |

Nahum
We
skip the next book today - we will do Micah next week. Today,
let's find out today what happens to Ninevah now that they have returned
to their old wicked ways. And the lesson for us? We ought to
be glad we don't have to worry about God's judgment if we return to our
old ways... but we can still sure reap what we sow by so doing, eh! |

How
To Walk With God
I recently heard a preacher's
invitation asking the people if they were walking with God. Do folks
even know how to walk with God? What does that mean?
We should already know the answer - We walk with God today by knowing Paul's
teachings, etc. Instead of Micah today, here is the complete sermon.
We will return to the SS series next week.
Bonus: Here is the
sermon that I preached to Pastors at the Bible Conference near Portland,
OR Friday night. "What Pastors Need to Hear Concerning Paul."
It got a little 'warm' during that sermon; however, in spite of that
'challenge from a local Portland pastor,' I had some great conversation
with a few preachers and men who were willing to talk about Paul at breakfast.
The angry one still hasn't contacted me to talk about it all. I must
admit, I was a bit hard, but hey - pastors need to hear preachings toward
them, too. They expect their people to take it, they should also be able
to take a rebuke. |

Being
Drawn Towards
Now that we have heard
about those who are trying to draw us away from the Bible, etc. how does
God draw folks towards Him today? Should we be giving books and videos
and pictures about the Bible and Jesus? What draws people towards
God? How does increase come about? |
