Greetings
from Paul to Celina, Ohio
What are some of the first things Paul
had to say to the churches in various 'areas'? We look & try
to apply those things to us today as we learn just what Paul believes were
to be the first things folks ought to hear. |

Checking My Foundation
and Wall
From Kenny Chapel, one of the men of
the church, he talks about when he 'got a hold of Paul' he had to check
his foundation and start over rebuilding his wall with the proper bricks
this time. |

Forsaking
Paul Already?
From a Scriptural example of Alexander
the coppersmith, we see that people will choose to forsake Paul's words
immediately when Paul's words are challenged! It is amazing to me
how fast people will turn and run when the going gets tough to support
Paul's words. This is a great biblical example from which to learn
about forsaking Paul and how common it is getting today. |

Are
Paul's Teachings Impractical?
I have heard it said that in today's
world, trying to follow the teachings of the risen Saviour through Paul
is not practical. You mean a young lady staying home instead of going
to work outside the home? You mean dressing 'very' modestly?
You mean being quiet and sober? You mean not following the world's
way of entertainment? You mean saying 'no' to things that you used
to say 'yes' to? That is all not practical? Growing in judgment?
Believing One Bible? Learning the truth about music and then living
it? Serving the living God and Risen Saviour today is impractical?
Designing the local church to please God instead of man? According
to the scriptures, what are a few real reasons people say Paul is impractical? |

Paul's
Punctuation
Reading through Paul's writings, we see that he has many very long sentences.
Knowing the importance of grammar, we can see how these are not bunny trails
- these are not run on sentences - these are great additional phrases that
have great importance. Here are a few of those long sentences. |

Charity
By Kenny Chappel, one of our church
men, since he has started following Paul's teachings of the Risen Saviour,
gives us a simple basic yet important sermon on having Charity, but not
at the expense of the Bible and truth, etc. |

UnPaul
So, people think Paul's teachings of
and from the Risen Saviour are not practical? They also think they
are unrealistic; unreachable; unwantable; undesirable. But why are
the folks so unteachable? There is an answer to that question.
Listen through to the conclusion - you will another reason why folks are
so against Paul's teachings. |

The
Curses Still Exist
I see that some of our frustrations
as a Christian are because we may tend to think that because we are a Christian,
then we should our existence on this earth to be easier and better than
those without Christ. We have to remember that the devils is the
god of this world and we are in his territory when we try to do right,
dress right, talk right, etc. and not do those things that we learn are
not expedient, do not edify, etc. and are what the Risen Saviour teaches
us through Paul's teachings in the KJB.
The original curse still exists -
and with the direction of Paul, we can learn how to live to please God
and to do right - even within this cursed world. In fact, trying
to change the 'design' is exactly what the devil is doing these days -
so don't be part of the devil's plan as you do what you can to reverse
the curse. Let Christ take care of the curse of the law and then you do
what you can, with God's strength, etc. to live a life that would be considered
a Christian's life!
Note: the video appears long
but that is because we often include the singing before and after the preaching
as well as some email updates from the family or comments about the daily
news from a Biblical point of view. Oh, and sometimes the sermons
are just long as there is a lot to preach on these days. In order
to get through the whole counsel of God, we don't have much time left these
days.
There are also still a few recording
issues I need to deal with but at least there is a video available finally.
I am trying - we will be settled soon? ha, right! |

Fully
Knowing Paul's Manner of Life
Part I
In this short series, we are taking
a more detailed look into Paul's manner of life. The basics of what
Paul's teachings are that our walk as a Christian is one of a good testimony
and is pleasing to God. This is not a 'do' or 'don't do' list - it
is his manner of life. This is how Paul 'was' on a day to day basis towards
other people. Note: The sound quality is
not the best - it was recorded too low, but it still works. |

How many folks have a crumbling foundation
when they think they really solid one? Paul's gospel exposes the
truth of one's foundation whether it be a solid one or a false one. |

Knowing Paul's Manner of Life
Part II
Continuing from Part
I, we take a more detailed look into Paul's manner of life.
This the basics of what Paul's teachings from the Risen Saviour are - our
walk as a Christian that is one of a good testimony and pleasing to God.
This is not a 'do' or 'don't do' list - it is his manner of life. This
is how Paul 'was' on a day to day basis towards other people.
Note: the video appears long but it is only because I forgot to shut the
camera off when we were finished so there is a lot of 'nothing' at the
end! |

Being Fully Persuaded
Jason Now expresses his desire for folks
to consider Paul's persuading of the teachings of the Risen Saviour.
Fully
Knowing Paul's Manner of Life
Part III
Three more points on Paul's manner of
life for our ensample today. 1) Enduring the hardness of this
world AND of the brethren; 2) Considering what Paul says in that
KJB is how we are led by the Holy Spirit today; 3) Bearing the infirmities
of the weak IF they are truly weak and not just users or liars, etc.
*Note: the video
consists of both sermons on one video, thus the extra long length... and
I forgot to shut it off at the end; I still have not learned how to edit
a video. :-) |
