The
Sermon on the Mount More Perfectly
Part III - Matthew
5:7-9
We continue by looking through more Beatitudes. We look at
verses
7,8,9 - Must we show mercy in order to receive mercy today?
Does keeping peace in the world / home / community, etc. actually make
us a Christian? Must we make a pure heart BEFORE we can 'see' God?
We can certainly see that the Risen Christ taught 'more' to the Christian
today then he did to the Jews during the times of the Gospels. So
why do folks still insist on going back to the Gospels for their doctrine
today? (PS - the video title page is mislabeled
with part IV instead of part III) |

For whose sake?
We look at persecution in the gospels
compared to what Paul says about persecution today. In this first
session, we see for whose sake these things were done. |

Are
You 'Troubled' Properly?
Let's look and see if we are to be 'persecuted'
today - and if not, why not; or if so, how so! Paul makes some very
good comments about persecution for us today. If you think we are
not to 'suffer' today - then that just may be the very reason you are not
getting anywhere in your growth as a Christian. |

We
Have Found Him!
Since we officially 'left the campgrounds'
a few years ago - we see that we truly have found the living God - the
Risen Saviour. What has that meant to those who have also found him
while attending our little church these past years? Here are a few
comments regarding the Living God that Paul guides us to!
For those interested
for yourself or for those who have been with us since we 'left camp' looking
for the real living God, you may find very interesting these 'archived'
notes from two sermons I preached back in 2003 - announcing that we were
going to leave the 'camp' in search for the living God!

Strength
in God's Grace
As we continue to hear more and more
from those who insist on following the Gospels, etc. we see that all they
want to do is tear down the teachings from the Risen Saviour and all that
He did. All they want to do is talk about the work of the cross,
etc. but they seem to have no idea what really took place on the cross
as well as after the cross. There is 'zero' edification coming from
their mouth. Their mouths need to be stopped, as Paul warns before
they subvert any more homes! As the world falls apart around us -
including the folly of modern Christianity - hear how God's grace can actually
give us the strength we so need. (notes will be coming soon) |

Persecution
verses "to" the Tribulation age that are falsely preached today!
Are we called to suffer like the suffering
warned about in the Gospels? How about the persecution Peter talked about
in his writings? No - am I sure of that? Yes! If
one rightly divides the word of truth, we see that suffering and persecution
like the Gospels and Tribulation is not necessary for the the 'serious'
Christian today. Also, can folks suffer persecution for the false
gospel? They sure can - and what a waste that would be, eh! |

They
Have No Clue!
As we see that according to the newest
Homeland Security document, we are to be considered dangerous as a potential
"radical on the right." What kind of suffering could this possibly
mean? Or will we be suffering reproach for another reason?
How about for trusting in the living God and following Paul ONLY?
The question we ask and answer tonight
is this: How can a professing King James Bible Believer / or the
average 'Christian' still not follow Paul ONLY? What is it about
the Great Commission Baptists, etc. that just want to stick to the Gospels
and not follow Paul? Why can't they follow Paul ONLY without trying
to apply the whole Bible or at least the Gospels and I II Peter, etc.
We still say the whole Bible is FOR
us, but it is not all TO us! We preach Genesis to Revelation but
try to live only what Paul preaches! What is so dangerous, threatening
and hard about that? Well, here is what I see is so hard for folks! |

Salt
of the earth today?
Are Christians
today really considered the salt of the earth? By looking closely
at what Paul says about salt, you will be surprised as to who/what the
salt is to be today! |

Could
It Even Be Blasphemy?
As we continue to look to Paul's teachings
from the Risen Saviour, we now look at blasphemy. Blasphemy was a
serious thing in the Old Testament - it could get them killed. Blasphemy
during the Gospels could give them eternal damnation. But how much
'more perfectly' is blasphemy when it comes to Paul's teachings?
So much more, in fact, that it is shocking to see what would be considered
blasphemy today! It doesn't bring death nor does it bring eternal
damnation, but it is still evil and can still lead others to eternal damnation. |

The
Sermon on the Mount More Perfectly
Part VIII - Matthew
5:14-16
The
light of the world today?
Who or What is
the light of the world today? Is it Jesus Christ? What did
Jesus mean when he said, "As long as I am in the world, I am the light
of the world?" Knowing that Jesus is no longer in the world,
who / what is the light? Is it the Gospel Jesus, Jews, any modern
Bible, King James Bible, people's good works, the apostle Paul, the Risen
Christ, etc.???
Whatever /
whoever that light is, how would you hide it under a bushel today?
What must folks 'see' today to see that light? What works do we do
that glorifies God - Gospel teachings of Jesus or the teachings of
Paul? |

Inheritance
- Can We Lose Any of It?
Can we really lose any of our inheritance
that Christ has made us jointheir? With the threats and guilt trips
concerning our 'walk,' is this just another ploy by preachers and pastors
to force their people to witness more, give more and bring those folks
in? |

I've
Got a Secret
God had a secret and when it got out,
most folks hated it; and they still do to this day. Who are these
folks who would hate such a thing - and for those of us who know what that
secret was, what do we do that brings on such hatred? |

How
Do They Answer These?
These are verses that are obvious - there is no private interpretation
- there is no question as to what they say about Paul and his teachings.
These are verses that we can ask these folks who are so against Paul's
Epistles as being TO us and the rest of the Bible FOR us.
The sound quality isn't the best and there is no video for this sermon.
Sorry about that. |
