What's
In It For Us?
Part
XXXII
Jeremiah
Part
I
We
take a quick look at a man who preached the same message that America needs
to hear today and the same message that preachers are suppose to be preaching
today. It is a marvelous book. For those people who think Jeremiah
had no results in his ministry, they must reconsider - he had many results.
For one, he did what he was suppose to do. That in itself is almost
unheard of today. |

Religion Today - An
Unknown God
Based on our previous
week at our fair booth and reading the latest in Christianity magazines,
here are the main features that make up religion today. The hard
facts are that we all still exhibit some of these traits in our own lives.
We must destroy and throw down what religion we have left in our lives
- there is no joy in having an Unknown God today! |

As we enter into the meat
of Timothy, we learn that God actually does make it possible for us to
walk a walk worthy of being a rightly divided KJV Bible Believer who chooses
to try to follow Paul. In fact, it is essential for a man to be worthy
before he ought to be expecting worthiness from his wife and family. |

Compare Proverbs 22:6
with Ephesians 6:4. We see one of the reasons that our older children
are turning against the Lord, Church and the Book. Could it be that
some parents trained up their children like they were their pet dogs?
Maybe some nurturing and admonition of the Lord was what was missed.
Once again, we see the depth and practicality of Paul's Epistles and how
we have come up so short as parents. |

In
order to understand Jeremiah, one must understand what is going on in America

Charity today. Is
it all that folks are making it out to be? Is it the bond of perfectness
that Paul calls it in Colossians 3:14?
What could possibly be more important than charity today? |

You don't need any Michael
Pearl books on child training... you don't need any special vision forum
tapes or 'how-to' tapes, etc. All you need is your King James Bible
- not anymore of those child training books, This is an amazing set
of verse for EVERY Dad in America. ! I Thessalonians
2:1-13 is by far the greatest advice and direction for any and
all fathers you will find anywhere. More and more families are heading
towards a huge shipwreck. We can avoid those shipwrecks by looking
at Paul's words in I Thessalonians 2:11,12
as well as as a quick read through of Acts 27,
all about Paul's shipwreck. Two absolutely marvelous chapters can
be absolutely marvelous advice towards fathers. |

Do parents ever really
know or care about the damage they do within their own home with their
spiritual weaknesses and 'religion' that they still just can't throw down,
etc.? Here is a little sermon about a lighthouse keeper who can't
get the ship captains to turn from the rocks - and thus he will soon see
his home fall apart and his family die in a shipwreck. |

Jeremiah
23
We extend the Sunday School
session with my favorite chapter, most of which can be quoted exactly today
in reference to pastors with the modern bible versions or even those who
still preach lying words from their wrongly divided KJB. It may not
be TO us, but chapter 23 is there for our learning, admonition and even
comfort. |

Correction
Should Be Comforting, Not Grievous!
If Biblical correction is
grievous to you, it is because you are wanting to forsake the right way
- through Paul. Why is it that Dad's are not good comforters?
If a parent or pastor wants to comfort properly, and not provoke their
children to wrath, what does Paul say about comforting? |

Demas left following Paul
because he loved the present world. I hope you are never a Demas
follower. Here are some thoughts and comments on why or how a parent
would become a Demas follower - or make his children become little Demas
followers. |

Jeremiah
Seraiah,
A Quite Prince with a Loud Message"
Not
only did Jeremiah try warn Jerusalem of their coming destruction, he also
was quick to tell what was going to happen the Babylon, etc. Jeremiah
had his Baruch, but he also had his Seraiah, the quiet prince - but boy,
did that quiet prince have a loud message! Today, we have that same
message to tell others about their coming doom in the Tribulation. |

What charges are given
to us - and how can a father makes these same charges to his family and
children? Note the many tears in this sermon: I had been experiencing
something like panic attacks for this weekend. It was scary to me
personally - still don't know what they were all about, but just
to let know you know, I haven't become one of those flashy crying fancy
preachers - the tears were real but they sure did come easier than anytime
before. |

Again, we see some fatherly
application here concerning exhortation. How does the father exhort?
Thread management? Anger? Fear? Painful hurts and punches?
Or is it done Paul's way? This Sunday's sermons have been hard for
me to preach knowing more and more what is going on behind closed doors
across this nation in the child abuse within Christians. Maybe this
sermon will help that somehow! |

The
Need For Righteousness Behind Closed Doors
This is a short study of 'righteousness' according to Paul.
While the most recent sermons have dealt with life behind the closed doors
of our own homes, be sure to realize that instead of dwelling on the correction,
we can and should look to the instruction in righteousness that the KJB
provides. |

Jeremiah
Jeremiah
and the King's Penknife! We just continue to learn from Jeremiah
- actual things that we can be so encouraged as well as enlightened today
as we are living in days very similar to Jeremiah's time - a time when
people, including so-called Christians continue to ignore God's very words. |

I
just can not get out of Jeremiah. This morning, we look at lessons

What Paul Teaches
to Timothy to Teach to Us?
Part XXII
Sacrifice
|
What is missing in our
parenting today - in our Christian living? Sacrifice - a willingness
to suffer loss for the sake of others. Remember, having to say 'no'
to the world's ways is NOT sacrifice. What then does sacrifice mean
to a Christian - especially the parents today? What is a proper sacrifice
compare to a strange sacrifice? |
