What's
In It For Us?
Part XLIII
Even
More of Ezekiel
Along
with considering the 'pollution' that Ezekiel had to deal with concerning
God's people, we also look at some of the 'sermons' that Ezekiel had to
present visually to God's people and even considering why he had to do
those 'signs.' They are truly amazing stories - and true, as
well. Have you ever heard of the city called, "The Lord is here?"
Here are the exact measurements for that city, too. |

Rejoicing,
Not Reveling!
Rejoiceth
not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth!
I
Corinthians 13:6
We
look beyond reveling from last weeks sermon, and look to the rejoicing
side of the series. Not only do we look at a few things we have to
rejoice over, we also see the 'order' that we see if a parent wants to
be able to rejoice when his/her children have grown up. Here is what
it takes to be a Christian parent today! Marvelous practical application
for us all. |

And
Ye That Fear God
Does fearing God mean
to be afraid of God? Does it mean to respect and be in awe, etc.?
With all that Paul preaches about God's longsuffering, patience, etc. in
Romans chapter two, why would Paul say we need to fear God? What
does it mean really to fear God? And one final question - how would
learning the truth about fearing God today help a parent with their child?
Answers within - and
I think you may be surprised. |

Teach
Our Children to Hate!
Does Paul actually preach
a hatred? Sure does! We need to learn to hate something as
well... and what would that be, you ask? Well, listen to this sermon
- find out what you should hate - and then get indignant about it.
That is the only way you will turn away from doing wrong. We must
also teach our children to hate Scripturally, as well. If we
don't, they will be deceived! |

Part XLIV; XLV
Ezra,
Nehemiah, Esther
We
move on to Ezra
today. What can we learn from Ezra?
Well, after a short introduction of the history of God's people up to the
end of the Old Testament, we can surely see some practical & valuable
teachings for those who are wanting to 'do right' and to make changes in
their lives! We can learn about the opposition that Ezra had to face
as they were wanting to rebuild the Temple, etc.
Today's
Outline on Ezra is lesson #45 - the sermon audio is quite a bit
different than the notes in our emphasis today.
Click
here for a general outline #44 on a summary and history up to this
point in the King James Bible regarding the Old Testament. |

Rightly Dividing Separation
Part I - Introduction
How important is it to
be 'separated' from the world today? Do we need to be separated and
if so, from what are we to be separated from? What, why and whom
are we to separate ourselves from? What does it mean to separate?
Can someone go far with Separation? What does it mean to our daily
lives as we try to live like a Christian should? |

Part II - Details
Here are the comments
and teaching according to the doctrine of Separation as taught by Paul
in our detailed study of II Corinthians 6:14-18.
Just
how is this all possible in today's 'modern' world? |

Benefits of Separated
Living
Has God Received You?
While people talk about
receiving Christ, I wonder if they ever wonder if God receives them?
Here are two benefits of living a separated life. Being separated
from the world is more than just salvation - it is living a 'separated'
life according to Paul. What does II Corinthians
6:14-18 have to do with our fellowship
with God? |

Part XLVI
Ezra
& Haggai
We
finish up Ezra
and at the same time, we look at Haggai
for some detail in the building of the temple. Looking at the OT
chronologically sure does help us see some detail that we tend to miss
as we read from beginning to end dispensationally. There is some
practicality preached in this lesson today - I would hope some folks would
take heed with what we can learn from Ezra
and Haggai. |

Stagger Not
It seems that there is
sure a lot of fight / a struggle with people when it comes to what Paul
preaches about
Separation. We are not to conform to this world,
but how is it what so many have such a struggle? Here is the introduction
to a few sermons on 'faith' and our mind. |

Our Walk is To Be a Work of Faith
Let's look at what Paul
preaches to us about faith. We know now that the issue is our mind
- and so to do our mind correctly, we must live a life of faith - but do
you know what that really means? |

The Faith 'IN' & The Faith
'OF' Christ
We do an in-depth study
of the faith OF Jesus Christ. I see how easy it is to think that
whenever we read the word faith that we would think it is making reference
to 'our' faith. A closer look will show that while there are verses
that show 'our' faith can grow and should, etc. we also see that the faith
that really counts about our personal justification, etc. is the faith
OF
Christ. This
should prove to be a very interesting Bible study/sermon for folks interested
in slowing down in their reading so that they can get more out of each
verse. Notes will not be available for this particular sermon as I believe
the audio is easier to explain than to have typed notes. Some folks
tend to read the notes only and I can almost guarantee that written notes
can not do this subject justice. Try the audio only on this one.
(notes to review this sermon are available below in the Sunday a.m. audio
sermon as we completely review what was preached in this message. |

What's
In It For Us?
Part XLVII
Esther
You
will notice that the 'audio' doesn't even come close to the notes on the
Book of Esther. I pretty much just expound on Esther to our little
girls in how they can strive to please their daddy as Queen Esther did
to her King.
We
also discussed the Jewish Feast of Purim - so if you hear hissing in the
sermons today, you would know what is going on if you listen to this lesson
on Esther, Mordecai and Haman and the importance of Esther for the Jewish
nation AND for us today! |

Faith OF Christ 'Be-awarings'
We do a complete review
of Wednesday nights sermon on Faith In and Faith Of Christ. This
morning, we then consider the 'dangers' that we have concerning the faith
of Christ. If we can't lose His faith, and we can't - what should
our concerns be about 'His' faith? These notes will definitely show
you the scriptural difference and importance of knowing about the Faith
In Christ and the Faith Of Christ! |

Our Faith In Christ
After a morning hearing
about the faith OF Christ, tonight we consider Our Faith In Christ.
Our faith 'in' Christ gives us the faith 'of' Christ. Now, read and
hear how important it is for us to still increase our faith daily! |

Stablished in The Faith
How do we get 'stablished
in the faith?' What does 'stablish' mean? What is the difference
in the way we are to be established in the faith compared to the Tribulation?
Are you so 'stablished' that you are rock solid with faith? |
