- Paul's "DO's" - What to Pray! |
The real power of the Word of God
is being replaced by the false power of prayer.
Turning to the Word of God for Paul's pattern of prayer,
let's see what it is we could be praying about for our family and friends,
etc.
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy,
that in me first Jesus Christ might shew
forth all longsuffering,
for a pattern to them which should hereafter
believe on him to life everlasting.
I Timothy 1:16
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6
I will therefore that men pray every
where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
I Timothy 2:8
* Good prayer concerning your pastor or one's parents, etc.

| II Timothy 1:3-8 | to be an encouragement to some one who is 'down in the dumps' - having troubles! |
