For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things,
having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

Better Than the Lord's Supper
Benefits from Physically Following Paul
Continuing previous sermons on the benefits of following Paul,
with emphasis, of course, in I, II Timothy and Titus!

From the previous sermon, one of the things we have been told by Paul to 'remember' was Christ's death!
So let's do that!
Till he comes!
Allow me to start off this sermon then, with these questions!
Now, if you can honestly answer those questions yourself - let's go on and 'try' to remember His death!
Paul says to Timothy:
Christ's Death gives Victory over Death!
I Corinthians 15:53-58 - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Paul's guides us to Christ through himself in Romans about Christ's death!

Reconciled to God

Reign in life! Walk in newness of life - in the likeness of his resurrection! Death hath no dominion over us! No more death for us because of His death! Free from the law of sin and death! Being carnally minded vs Paul's stuff! We still will have that battle with the body of this death! Only in Romans? No!

His death is truly something to remember!
