More from Paul
Things Paul Assumes We Already Know

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
I Corinthians 2:12

Romans 3:19  Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.   Conviction / Convincing - See I Corinthians 14:23-25.  When you witness with the King James Bible, they have nothing to say back - although many will try, but only by cutting down the Book!

Romans 7:14  For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.  See Romans 8:2-6

Romans 8:22,23  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I Corinthians 8:1-3  1: Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.  And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

I Corinthians 8:4-6  As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.  For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)  But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

I Corinthians 13:9-12  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

II Corinthians 5:1-10  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:  If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.  Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

I Timothy 1:8  But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;  also see II Timothy 2:5  And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.  (not as a schoolmaster to the saved or God's 'love & grace' to the lost - only TOWARD the lost...; rightly divided of course; not causing someone to stumble, must be expedient and should edify the body of Christ!)

You should know and be able to trust your church leadership
(This has good application for the family at home, too!)
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you,
and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
I Thessalonians 5:12

II Corinthians 13:6  But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

II Thessalonians 3:7  For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

I Thessalonians 1:5  For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

I Thessalonians 2:2  But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.

I Thessalonians 2:5  For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

I Thessalonians 2:11  As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,

I Thessalonians 3:3  That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

I Thessalonians 3:4  For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

I Thessalonians 4:2  For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.  (rightly divided, of course)

Yes, there is more to know than just these things,
but this is a good place to start if you don't know these things, amen!
