For those of us who claim to follow him through a rightly divided
KJB, would Paul find us knowing the following:
Acts:20:29: For I know this, that after
my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the
flock.
When a church or a family or a person drops Paul's
teachings, the grievous wolves will devour them and won't spare any of
them!!!
Acts:22:14: And he said, The God of our
fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that
Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
We can know the same things as that is what Paul
passed on to us!
Acts:22:19: And I said, Lord, they know
that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
Acts:26:4: My manner of life from my youth,
which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the
Jews;
We know that Paul was just another man like us!
Read Romans 7 - we have the same problems as he had!
Acts:28:22: But we desire to hear of thee
what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where
it is spoken against.
To this day, everywhere Paul is spoken, people
speak against it!
Rom:3:19: Now we know that what things soever
the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth
may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
The law does the job to the lost!
To a Christian, we are not under the law!
Rom:7:18: For I know that in me (that is,
in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but
how to perform that which is good I find not.
But will you admit it?
Rom:8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth
our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but
the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot
be uttered.
Why don't we know what we should pray for?
Rom:8:28: And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according
to his purpose.
Not all things ARE good - but they work together
for good!
Rom:14:14: I know, and am persuaded by the
Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth
any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
This is directed concerning those that
are weak in the faith.
If you have grown, you know what pleases and
doesn't please God. But if someone believes something is wrong for
them to do, who are you to challenge them?
1Cor:2:12: Now we have received, not the
spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know
the things that are freely given to us of God.
the things that are freely given to us of God
- do you know them?
1Cor:4:4: For I know nothing by myself;
yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
God has taught us all we know and it is all serious
stuff - KJB has to be from God!
1Cor:11:3: But I would have you know, that
the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man;
and the head of Christ is God.
Who knows this these days?
That puts the KJB as our final authority!
1Cor:13:12: For now we see through a glass,
darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know
even as also I am known.
King James Bible, otherwise the Pentecostals
are right - and we know they are not, according to that KJB!
1Cor:14:11: Therefore if I know not the
meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and
he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
Do you know the voice of music?
1Cor:15:58: Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch
as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
You won't give up if you know your labour is
not in vain in the Lord - if it Paul's work and words that you are labouring
with!
2Cor:2:4: For out of much affliction and
anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be
grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto
you.
Do we know the love that Paul has for us?
He didn't have to stay - but he chose to!
That KJB is our friend, not our enemy - because
of God's grace, not the law!
2Cor:5:1: For we know that if our earthly
house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an
house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Do you know what comes after you die - eternity
is a long time!
Do you KNOW?
2Cor:8:9: For ye know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor,
that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Do you know this?
What riches do you think this is referring to?
2Cor:9:2: For I know the forwardness of
your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was
ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
Would he know of your forwardness of your mind
towards Paul?
Do you know if this describes you?
Eph:1:18: The eyes of your understanding
being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and
what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Do you see yet?
Phil:3:10: That I may know him, and the
power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being
made conformable unto his death;
You know Him - and He knows you!
Ephesians 2, not
Matthew 7
Col:4:6: Let your speech be alway with grace,
seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Do you KNOW how to answer?
Do you KNOW HOW to answer folks?
Strive? Loud? Meaty? Long? or with
grace seasoned with salt...
Or do you answer with grace and no truth of salt?
1Thes:2:1: For yourselves, brethren, know
our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
Do you KNOW if Paul's teachings have entered
into your life - your family - your church?
1Thes:2:5: For neither at any time used
we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
Do you need to be flattered today or do you know
it would be wrong to be flattered?
1Thes:2:11: As ye know how we exhorted and
comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
How many have a father for an example in their
life?
How many fathers use this for his pattern of
fathering?
1Thes:4:2: For ye know what commandments
we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
Do you?
Do you read Paul as directives to please God?
Don't mix them up with Jesus' commandments
in the gospels or Moses' commandments in the OT or Peter, Jude and James,
etc. in the Tribulation.
2Thes:1:8: In flaming fire taking vengeance
on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ:
You must know God - the living God.
Acts 26:18,
etc.
2Thes:3:7: For yourselves know how ye ought
to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
Do we know how to follow Paul and his friends?
1Tm:1:8: But we know that the law is good,
if a man use it lawfully;
Do you know that about the law?
Lawfully?
2Tm:1:12: For the which cause I also suffer
these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed,
and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto
him against that day.
Do you KNOW whom you have believed?
How do you KNOW?
Feelings? pastor's opinion? parents
stories? baptism?
Scriptures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2Tm:3:1: This know also, that in the last
days perilous times shall come.
We know what is coming - read Hebrews
to Jude!
Those will be perilous times - but today is not
the last days - and so we are not in perilous times!
Ti:1:16: They profess that they know God;
but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto
every good work reprobate.
Lip service - hypocrites - bad testimonies -
liars - all talk and no walk!
