What More Would Paul Find If He Would Come Back Today ?

Would he find an opportunity to boast or be shamed?
II Corinthians 9:1-4 - For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready: Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting. Paul was not one to boast - boasting is wrong! Christ took away opportunity or reason for us to boast! People accused Paul's boldness of being 'in the flesh.'

Yet, Paul did boast!

Would Paul be able to 'boast' of 'Christians' today?

He would find:

Paul would find out that his labour WAS in vain for 'Christians' today!

Galatians 4:11 -  I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Philippians 2:16 - Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
I Thessalonians 2:1 - For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
I Thessalonians 3:5 - For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
