A Few Magnificent yet Potentially Dangerous Verses

1)  Either wrongly divided!
or
2)  Used alone and out of context!
or
3)  Using part of the verse!
or
4)  Using a different bible in the first place...

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse,
deceiving, and being deceived.
II Timothy 3:13

Wrong use of these verses:
Magnificent yet Potentially Dangerous verses today!
Mark 16:15,16  -  Great stuff, but not 'to' us, so if we see these things coming to pass, it is of the devil!
Psalm 34:15 - thinking YOU are righteous because of YOUR righteousness!  See Romans 10:3 - ...ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness...
Psalm 34:19 - if not, you are not righteous.. f you are, you are safe (have money) or you justify whatever however you can.
Psalm 118:20 - you think that your own righteousness gets you 'in'

II Chronicles 7:14 - classic verse used all over the country - has it worked?  are we not doing it right?  or is just OT!
I Chronicles 4:10 - the prayer of Jabez - another example of folly if anyone tries to put this verse into action!  OT!
I John 1:9 - confession FOR salvation?  confession AFTER salvation - lose your soul or lose your fellowship with God and receive God's chastisement, according to Hebrews 12..
I John 2:27 - anointing?  great, but we are NOT!  The KJB is what is anointed today!  Nowhere does the KJB say WE are anointed as described in I John 2:27, but many folks think so!
I John 4:15 - a false salvation today
I John 4:16 -stuff on man's humanistic love to seek approval of all, Jesus love, God loves all, etc.  - Acts 2:47
I John 3:19-24 - false assurance - keep commandments - love one another - today's folly of Christianity
I John 3:7,8 - to not sin!  If is all our own righteousness!
I John 5:1,3 - works!
I John 5:18-20 - false safety from the devil!  Develops a conceitful pride because of thinking you are 'anointed,' etc.
See 2:27 - the anointing verse!

Romans 14:22 - so happy and safe & guiltless that you eventually get involved and participate yourself! (you stumble as well as trip up others; it becomes a power over you; it can corrupt good manners; make provision for your flesh and get you to enjoy it enough yourself - and boom, you are hooked!
I Timothy 3:6 - novices all over the internet and in homes... AND in churches especially - even after they 'gradeeate' from their college and institute.

Romans 6:14 - not under the law, so you become grace users and abusers - "everything is all grace covered - you know, we are in the dispensation of grace" - except it will all show up at your judgment seat!!!
Romans 6:18,19 - don't become a servant of righteousness (or even try...)
I Corinthians 6:12 - all things are unlawful, but you forget the strings attached!
Romans 10:4 - end of the law for righteousness, so 'party', don't concern yourself with modesty, shamefacedness, loudness, personal roles as God designed them,

II Corinthians 6:19 - all world is saved?  the brotherhood of man!
Philippians 3:4 to 21 - proud in the flesh?  Paul can be even more so, so we figure so can we!  Just read all the verses and see how Paul handled this one!
Romans 8:14 - as determined in the heart instead of the book!
Galatians 3:3 - we can try or fall for this one very easily - but most ignore this verse & get frustrated and judgmental, etc.
I Corinthians 13:13 - charity can be taken to the ecumenical level - forget that Paul goes beyond eventually and avoids, from such turn away, etc. (which is still being charitable, by the way).  Note the word, "these" - not over everything, just those other two things!  It may 'never' fail, but it comes time to rebuke, etc. We just don't strive, etc.

(for remaining audio comments, this is continued & completed in pm sermon introduction)

Romans 12:18 - you just live peaceably with everyone, no matter what!
Romans 14:19 - never go beyond to the 'judgment' (Philippians 1:9,10, etc)
Romans 12:14 - remember they have an eternal lake of fire for their future - and their enemy is the devil and their own flesh (not cut away yet).

Romans 16:25,26 - leave out 'according to the revelation of the mystery...
Colossians 3:14 - bond of perfection - but again it isn't the final authority - and there is that word 'these' again!
Galatians 1:12 - You could begin to think, that if he did, so can we...  unless it is from the book as you learn and grow, God will reveal things in your reading!
Galatians 2:20 - inner feeling but not by Book today!  remember I Corinthians 13:10

Romans 14:16 - In order to get them to stop talking evil of you, etc, you decide to not do the immodest concern / go ahead and be loud / go with them / participate / be like them / and you will begin to feel 'part of them' - you will finally 'fit in.' Then you can claim Acts 2:47 and get a good Great Commission church going!

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
