Now there
was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel:
for the
Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
So it came
to pass in the day of battle,
that there
was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people
that were
with Saul and Jonathan: I Sam 13:19-22
The following
is a list of changes found in some of the ‘newer printed' King James Bibles.
This is not a complete list, but it shows a few of the subtle changes being
made. You will be surprised on how many King James Bibles have the changes.
The famine (Amos 8:11-13) gets
closer and closer, doesn't it?

Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine
of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of
hearing the words of the LORD:
And they
shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east,
they shall
run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD,
and shall
not find it.
Amos 8:11,12
