What constitutes a Jewish fable?

First, let's define fable:

• skip the modern dictionaries - they redefine the word 'fable' to where it has no biblical bite to it at all!
• Here is the truth to what a fable is!
• FABLE, n. [L., Gr. The radical sense is that which is spoken or told.]
• 1. A feigned story or tale, intended to instruct or amuse; a fictitious narration intended to enforce some useful truth or precept.
• 2. Fiction in general; as, the story is all a fable.
• 3. An idle story; vicious or vulgar fictions.
• 4. The plot, or connected series of events, in an epic or dramatic poem.
• 5. Falsehood; a softer term for a lie.
• FABLE, v.t. To feign; to invent; to devise and speak of, as true or real.
• FABLED, pp.
• 1. Feigned; invented, as stories.

1.  I Timothy 1:4: Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

• A fable only ministers questions - it has nothing to do with any godly edifying, etc.

• I am sure there are plenty of things that have been passed down from the past that are not true.
• However, in this case, we are talking about spiritual matters, so the teachings from the past should be considered bogus if there is an attempt to apply them today on a religious / spiritual basis!
• Apparently they were still being taught in Paul's day as well as in ours today.

• This is too obvious - but they who turn away their ears from the truth shall be turned unto fables.
• I wonder what Jewish fable would the folks in Paul's day be turned unto?
• I wonder what Jewish fable would the folks in our days today be turned unto if they turn their away from the truth?
• What is truth?  A KJB rightly divided following Paul.
• What is a fable?  A KJB wrongly divided teaching not following Paul, etc.

• We see again that Jewish fables turn people from the truth!
• What could Paul be referring to here?
• What teaching of Jesus actually turns people away from the truth?

• Remember, anything that Paul teaches is truth and anything else that is taught that does not match up with Paul is a false gospel!
• Galatians 1:8,9
• Mark 16:16-20
• Matthew 28:19-20
• The law given to the Jews in the OT!
• Acts 1-8 with Gospels.
• The Great Commission that was preached to the Jews being taught today as truth TO us for application!

• If the Great Commission from the gospels is taught TO us for us to apply in our lives, then we are being taught a Jewish teaching.
• If it is taught to applied today, then in all reality, it is a lie.
• It was the truth during the gospel times - no doubt - without a shadow of doubt!!!
• But today, it is history - so if it is taught from the pulpit to the people today as the gospel they are to follow, then they are being told to follow a Jewish teaching which now could easily be considered a fable when compared to Paul's teachings - the word of truth rightly divided - a KJB.

• Concerning the Philadelphian church age, which I believe we are still in today... (the Laodicean church teachings do not follow Paul's, so the Laodicean church has to be the church during the Tribulation...) there is a verse that doesn't make sense UNLESS you see the Great Commission as a Jewish teaching being taught TO Gentiles today making them 'try' to live and walk the walk given to the Jews during the Great Commission!
• Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.  Revelation 3:9
• People who teach, believe and follow the gospels today as their daily dose of application as preached from the pulpit, are part of the synagogue of Satan.
• Surely they don't know that - because if they did, they would get out.
• They are actually going to fight the very Saviour they think they have!
• They say they are Jews?
• well, they may not say it outwardly but their 'walk' is a testimony to Jewish teachings, not to the teachings from Paul to the Gentiles.
• It looks like their salvation is at issue here.
• They are living and walking a Jewish teaching - like they think they are Jews...
