Jeremiah's Words For Us Today
Part III
Chapters 6-9
But they hearkened not, nor inclinded their ear,
but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart,
and went backward, and not forward.
Jeremiah 7:24

Thine habitation is in the midst of deciet; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 9:6


We continue to learn how Jeremiah told the Jews that they were rejecting the voice of the LORD so we can not be 'surprised' as we try to tell the Gentiles they too are rejecting the voice of the Risen Saviour through the KJB and Paul!

We see a lot of 'tribulation' from God's wrath in these chapters - as well as the entire book of Jeremiah.  We are not putting those out as threats today - God's ministry to the Gentiles is his goodness, etc. not His judgment.  However, because we know the terror of the Lord, we do try to get folks to see what the Risen Saviour has done for us and to us.

We want folks to see the fruit of a rightly divided KJB Bible as we then follow Paul's teachings in our manner of life - at least try!

Note:  the word heathen is referring to the Gentiles when mentioned in the OT!
Note:  the church today is ourselves as the body of Christ, but we can so see the application within the local church being polluted today, as well!
