Christianity Today is Being Labeled a Mental Disorder
|
Statement: Being a Christian is about CHANGE!
1) He changes us!
2) We change our manner of life!
Preface - Pre Introduction
-
We now understand how God talks to us
-
Spirit of God, KJB, Paul's writings, etc.
-
We now know who the real enemy is!
-
Devil
-
(not our flesh solely because the devil can still be in our flesh - the
sin that is still in us, etc. Romans 7:20)
-
The devil can not:
-
rob God of all His praises because when we mess up, God has made it such
that He still gets praises in how He handles it with us!
-
rob God of his fellowship with us
-
take away our salvation!
-
take away our fellowship!
-
etc.
-
But what the devil can do is ruin our testimony to the Risen Saviour and
truth, etc.
-
He has already destroyed the men!
-
He has already destroyed the women!
-
He is in the process of taking over the children!
-
He has tricked the 'religious' with a false christianity and gave them
a false salvation based on a false gospel for the time!!
-
He is in the process of taking down the KJB Only folks!
-
He has yet to destroy all the Paul only Christians, but He sure has inserted
a lot of confusion, etc. among them all.
-
He will wear us out!
-
He will get us to shut down!
-
He will get us to deny Christ and Paul and the KJB not only in our words
but in our walk appearance and behaviour!
-
He will get us to give up!
-
If none of that worked, He will get Christians killed / locked up during
the Trib...
Introduction:
We know He changes us
-
We can actually learn about those instant changes at the moment of our
salvation!
WE need to make some changes ourselves to ourselves - however, not
to be sinless nor to be perfect based on Jesus' teachings from the Gospels!
-
We still fight and argue over petty things and some bigger things because
we still refuse to make some changes that would save marriages, relationships
with family, etc.
-
Changes should be according to Paul's teachings!
-
See Acts 26:18
-
our eyes are opened
-
we see the light we are to turn to
-
we have God AND the power of Satan (in our flesh)
-
we know about the inheritance, etc.
-
we know of THE FAITH that is IN us - it is His faith!
-
But also see Acts 26:20
-
repent
-
turn to God
-
not live with both sides, etc.
-
we can't do both without frustration , guilt, no joy, etc.
-
do works meet for repentance
-
'meet' - fit, suitable, proper
Now, for the preaching:
Put Off Old conversation:
Romans 6:6 - Knowing
this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might
be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
II Corinthians 5:17 -
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Ephesians 4:22 - That
ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts;
Colossians 3:9 - Lie
not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
I Timothy 4:7 -
But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto
godliness.
Put on the New:
I Corinthians 5:7 -
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are
unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
II Corinthians 5:17 -
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are

Galatians 6:15 -
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision,
but a new creature.
Ephesians 4:24 - And
that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness
and true holiness.
Colossians 3:10 -
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image
of him that created him:
I said all that to show this as
our conclusion:
Sincere
Christianity Today is Being Labeled a Mental Disorder

This 'new man' is becoming to be considered a mental disorder!
-
Not only by the world, but also by the 'brethren!'
-
Are all these 'disorders' that are being taught nothing but old nature
descriptions?
-
Sure, there are those disorders caused by alcohol to the baby, etc. but
if you saw the growing list of disorders, you will see that they are turning
our personalities, etc. into a specific title and labeling them as disorders.
-
Read characteristics of learning disabled kids... we all have those
characteristics in some form, etc.
-
Where is the perfect person that all these disorders are designed and discovered,
etc.?
-

for test modifications
-
for grade modifications
-
classroom environment modifications
-
teacher presentation modifications
-
parent type stages list
-
concerned about socio-ecomonic disturbances
-
Laws are increasing quickly to get more and more control of parents
-
A 'super-religious' person has a brain disorder - it is called temporal
lobe epilepsy
-
