I would even think that many of my 'musings for meditations' will be a result of me being somewhat older and my observations now are coming with experience and time... something that the young people, especially those 'studied Christians who have been to their bible schools and institutes will never understand - UNTIL they get into their older years.  

For my first illustration, this particular verse has become more important to me now - as I can now see more than ever before just how evil communications really does corrupt good manners.

As I continue to struggle with the tech and computer stuff like my own dad did with the tech video stuff in his day, I have to say I was brought up with the pre-techy  television.  I watched it while I ate, while I studied, while I slept, when I woke up in the morning, etc..  I had my favorite programs such as Lone Ranger (all the tv westerns, actually!!), Captain Kangaroo, Sky King, etc.  I missed being part of the peanut gallery for the Howdy Doody show because I always had my piano lessons during that time.  

Now, many years later, when I compare the old shows to today - I see how the 'entertainment' world truly was the force that has brought the perversions upon us.  The old shows such as Burns and Allen, etc. are clean compared to today's sitcoms but in their day, those 'older tv programs had their manipulation and dangers going and were corrupting good manners just as much as they are today.

Could you tell that to any young person today?  I am sure they just ignore our comments on wisdom as we did when we were young.  Now they have gone beyond computers to having their own techy phone, ipad in their possession 24/7 wherever they go, etc.  Do they realize what those things are doing to their brain, to their life, to their daily moral standard?  Will they ever?  Yes, but doubtful it will be in time to do them any good.

I could talk forever on what I have seen 'evil communications' have done in my lifetime.  But I won't.  If you are old enough, you also have your observations and conclusions to the truth of this verse.

The evil communication that bothers me the most, however, is the evil communications that is coming from the pulpits of our Bible Believing churches in America.  You know what I mean... those pastors who are good people, love their congregation and mean well... but are preaching a false gospel.  

I don't mean the Mormon, Lutheran, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, etc.  They are so far gone with their people, that they play the game so well, they actually believe they can forgive sins, etc.

My irritation is for those who preach - here I go again - the Great Commission emphasizing the gospels, I II Peter, I John, etc..  Those KJB guys who think they are preaching the truth in their King James Bible.  They are just like all the rest - they are putting forth their good words and fair speeches, some better than others and some louder than others and some harder than others, but putting it all out there just all the rest of of them - falsely!

We are supposed to mark them like we do all the others:  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

It is that simple - and there are other verses that tell us about to whom we should avoid and have no company with - not take heed to, etc.  In other words, as the global religion continues to be built up and prepped for the coming of the antichrist, etc. people just won't go that far with their church / pastor, etc. when they KNOW their preacher isn't preaching Paul.  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery...  That is Paul and that is ONLY PAUL.

Anything else is just evil communications... it may be people teaching and preaching good words and fair speeches, but nonetheless, it is still evil communication - and it will corrupt good manners - and they will continue to deceive the hearts of the simple.  Yes, evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But those of us 'in the know' should simply continue in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou has learned them... from the risen Saviour, through Paul, our ONLY apostle, in our rightly divided King James 1611 Bible.
