Introduction
to This Mulling & Meditation Series
I Timothy 4:15
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;
that thy profiting may appear to all.

Yes, can you believe it; I now have limited myself down to a minute (or so) for my 'sermons,' 'teachings,' comments, etc.  From sermons years ago that have been known to last up to - if not even beyond one hour - now are down to one minute (or so...)!  Is that not a major change of pace for me!

Time and age will do strange things to preachers and teachers.  Along with the passing of time and the 'falling away' that is obviously continuing to take place more and more since Paul made mention of such, just to come up with a few minutes of comments is not only about all I have time to give, for many that is about all most folks can seem to handle - or have the time and opportunity for study themselves.

As each of my days go by, and as I continue to make my 'spiritual observations' of what goes on in my public surroundings, I often think of specific verses that deal with those observations.  However, because my environment doesn't allow me to 'share' many of my sincere and honest Biblical thoughts and comments, this little "musings" page will give me an opportunity to come home and make my thoughts better known to the 'world out there'.

It is just another way for me to have "...magnified thy word above all thy name."  Psalms 138:2b!

Because it is Paul that is telling us to "meditate upon these things," he is talking not only about those things in that series of verses in I Timothy, but we certainly are to also meditate on all that Paul teaches, (as well as learning from his own life ensample).

That, my friend, is what these pages will be about: those quick little things in life that Paul teaches us on which to meditate and to do our best to give ourselves wholly to those things - then others should see the profiting of the truth in our lives and personal testimony.

I hope we all do know that Paul's mention of the 'profiting' is certainly not referring to those modern and worldly daily riches and physical blessings that the modern gospel 'christians' brag about.  A sincere Christian following Paul should put forth the joy, understanding and peace that comes from knowing the truth 'about' and 'from' the risen Saviour through Paul in a King James 1611 Bible - ONLY!

(I have to keep using that word "ONLY"...
...it sure does seem to bother people!)

Most 'christian' folks from the modern gospel put forth that smirky sweet sugary voice and smile based on their own pride of believing their own personal walk is producing God's physical and financial blessings.  We can truthfully understand what Paul is talking about in Romans 11:25 when he states:  For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. The modern gospel preachers and modern Christians are totally ignorant of what Paul has made known about the mystery - and is so greatly ignored by 'Great Commission' pastors.

But I had better stop and
save that subject for another 'musing'...
...my time is up for this one!
