Paul Preachers That Still Tickle Your Ears
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;
reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions,
do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
II Timothy 4:2-5

In reading the above verses, Paul reminds pastors, preachers and teachers, that a true ministry is to do the work of an evangelist, not build a church - or as they say in most 'Bible Believing' churches, 'plant' a church. A church may come out of that evangelism, but the 'message' should not change once that local assembly has been created.

I saw a church fall apart when Paul's message got beyond the joyous doctrine of the risen Saviour and into the books of Thessalonians, Timothy and Titus because those books cut to the heart the daily 'walk' of each member of that local church.  I saw a local baptist pastor as well as the new local 'Paul based church' family prevent a church from being developed beyond the start-up stage because of Paul's message in those same three books.  My point is that there are few, if any, full fledged 'local assemblies' based truthfully and fully truthed on Paul's complete gospel, from a rightly divided King James 1611 Bible.

Paul describes the job of a pastor/teacher is to preach the word... that would be the King James Bible, of course, and say what needs to be said whether it be the time the folks want to hear it said or not.  He also includes the command to reprove and rebuke; of course, he also says to exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

He then goes on and says why... there will come a time when folks will not endure what needs to be said, with that being sound doctrine.  People will only come if they can hear what they want to hear.  Not only will they turn their ears away from the truth, they will turn unto fables - things that are not true but sound good to the hearers.

Those of us who are probably reading this page understand that the pastors from the mainline denominations and those famous 'nondenominational' denominations as well as the other 'pastors' from all the many different groups of faith-based organizations will NOT preach the truth; they only preach what the people want to hear. Unfortunately, these preachers have taught the people what they should want to hear - and that isn't from a King James Bible, etc.

But this 'study' is about those Paul preaching pastors/evangelists and teachers that still preach what the people 'want to hear.'  When it comes to hearing what Paul has to say, I have learned 'the hard way' that 'Paul following' people still have ears that they only want tickled.

If a person wants to find out about the doctrine, etc. that he teaches, it is all pretty easy to find by doing a little computer search.  However, most of the time, their statement of faith is copied out of some fictitious book of Faith Statements so they all tend to sound alike.

For example: For the King James guys, I seldom see the words King James Bible - I usually see them say the word 'bible.'  That leaves the door open for those who know nothing about the King James Bible issue, but it also tells us that either 1) the preacher doesn't make an issue of the KJB, which he should! 2) He may use a King James Bible from the pulpit but personally doesn't believe the KJB is what we believe it to be.  Deep down, he believes in the 'originals' to be the inspired, and that the King James is only the best translation, etc. and so he goes to the many different Greeks or devilish lexicons, etc. in his studies. He will seldom, if ever, mention the words King James Bible.  He will sometimes use the phrase, "the greek says"... or "the originals say"... or "the better word here would be" ... etc.

The biggest problem here - among many problems with a pastor not being honest about a King James Bible is that in I Thessalonians 2:13, it says the word of God will effectually worketh also in you that believe.  If he doesn't believe the KJB to be the word of God, then he should be preaching from his greek books... but he is dishonest enough to still 'say' the words King James.  More often than not, he won't quote directly from the KJB... because he doesn't believe it to be the word of God.  In those cases, he believes that HE is the one that will effectually work in his people because it is HE that does the studies and it is HE that God will put the perfect truth to the people.

I could so go on with that subject.  But I won't.  I believe I can truthfully say, "You won't find anyone stronger on the King James Bible than me.  You won't find anyone stronger on Paul ONLY than me."  And yet, you won't find too many men with as little of formal training in preaching and hermeneutics, etc. as I have.  I am most definitely who God is talking about in I Corinthians where it says, For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

As a person, I rank right 'down' there with Paul!  Romans 7:24,25 - O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Anyway, back to the purpose of this particular 'study.'

I started staying that with a little computer searching, you can find out about whoever you want to find out about.  If you google my name for our 'statement of faith,' you will eventually find this page - http://www.scatteredchristians.org/2014/WhoAmI.mp3 which is an audio about who I am.

You could also find this page - http://www.scatteredchristians.org/2014/GainsayerQuestions.html.  That page is for gainsayers, so you could see where I stand on various things there.

You also could find http://www.scatteredchristians.org/2008/ContrastsI.html.  That page compares Paul's teachings with the gospels.  No doubts on that page as to what I stand for.

You could also find this page - http://www.scatteredchristians.org/2013/WhoWeAre.html - it is 'our' statement of faith.  That also says who I am and what this website represents.

I suppose you would be able to find a bunch of stuff against me, too.  Take your pick - believe what you want.  I am not one to tickle your ears but I also am not one to burn your ears, either.  I consider myself a teacher who preaches while teaching and a preacher who teaches while preaching.  Honestly, I miss hearing the turning of the pages during my live sermonating in WA.  I always had the folks look up what I was talking about - that way they could see it wasn't me saying that stuff - it was what the scriptures said - in other words, God said that, not me.

You often hear a pastor say, "God told me to say..."  If the KJB said it, then they should say the Bible says - or God says...  But all too often we have preachers who put themselves into the seat of God and the Holy Spirit.

I do remember a man or two who said a few years ago, "Don't criticize the messenger."  Today he says, "He thought he was the Holy Spirit in our lives."  He even told me," Go ahead and preach it - I can take it!"  Well, I did, and he couldn't take it - and eventually left.
You can't win, eh!

Anyway anyway - here are a few things I have found out about preachers and teachers who say they preach and teach Paul - but in all reality, they don't - or else they have some serious cracks in their teachings that I would warn anyone to stay away from them.

And besides my warnings, God is very specific who we should mark and follow and/or who we should mark and avoid, reject, shun, withdraw, not strive, neither give heed, purge, be not partakers, have no company with, cast off.  See Avoid - Whom and Why.

1.  Most of the 'grace' people have rejected the King James Bible as being God's words, preserved, without error, AND as that which is perfect, in I Corinthians 13:8-10.  Thus they have a different final authority - usually it becomes themselves - but people will just fall for it because the teacher has a great website or the pastor has enough people for his church that people can go there for their fellowship.

2.  Some of the 'grace' people become very calvinistic in their approach to Paul's manner of life.  Paul's teachings to them, are to just as strictly to be enforced as the gospel teachings of Jesus.  They just go from one rule book to another - but Paul preaches liberty, not bondage to rules, etc..

Paul's manner of life is 1) what our judgment seat will be based on (see Romans 2:16) but does not 'rob' us of 'earthly blessings' or bring us 'daily cursings' from God's judgments.  It will all come out in the judgment seat of Christ and not until then. 2) Paul's manner of life is all about pleasing God.  See I Thessalonians 4:1 - Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

3.  Many of the 'gracers' teach 'no one is wrong, everyone is right' philosophy, all in the name of unity.  They teach that Jesus died for all so nobody 'dies' again - you know, the famous 'Second Death.'  Grace for all, in other words.

You know what I teach about dispensation of grace for the lost as well as the saved.  However, those that do not believe will not receive God's grace at the end.  Their sins will be judged, of course, but they are still dead in their sins.  There is no salvation there for them.

Even during the tribulation, the people don't receive God's grace unless they go to the 'throne' and beg for it (Hebrews 4:16) - otherwise, they do not receive it until the end of the tribulation.  I Peter 1:13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

4.  Gracers spend a lot of time - almost all the time from their pulpits - teaching about "mid-Acts' doctrine.  Yet they actually believe that while things sort of started with Paul at mid-Acts, Paul does not really start talking to the Gentiles until after Acts 28.  Have they not read the book of Acts?  From chapter 9 on, we see Paul going to the Jews first, then to the Jews AND Gentiles, and then to the Gentiles only.  Certainly all that takes place BEFORE Acts 28.  They actually preach three different gospels between Acts 9 and 28.  Just more confusion to put to the people so they follow the 'scholarly pastor' who knows that stuff better than his people.

5.  Many of the 'gracers' also teach that the body of Christ will go through the Tribulation.  P:ure Bunk!

The sad part about all this is not only the deception that lies within the ranks of the gracers, but also the confusion that the general public sees.  For example, just the word 'Christian' and 'Christianity' is now associated with the Catholics.  It NEVER used to be that way.  I have talked to so many Catholics over the years that stated they are NOT Christians, "I am a Catholic.'

So today, when the media is talking about Christians and Christianity, they are talking about the Catholic Church.  So Biblical Truth gets a bad rap from the media.

Well, the same thing for the rightly dividing the word of truth.  It gets a bum rap when all the preachers and pastors of the mainline denominations and colleges, bible institutes, etc. go after the Mid-Actors with legitimate observations that are wrong Scripturally, then the truth of following Paul gets a bad rap.

There is / was a famous chalk artist bible believing KJB1611 preacher who warned so much about hyper-dispensationalism that his followers shut their ears at the sound of the word "Paul."  I was able to show one of his followers the truth about following Paul, etc. and that missionary agreed all the way - he had to - yet, that same evening before he was going to preach, he snuck out.  He was sent as a spy, yet that spy agreed with what I had showed him.  They follow the man more than the KJB.

6.  Many, if not most of the 'gracers' still practice The Lord's Supper / Communion when I believe it is clear that we are not called to do so.  Here is a church that practices liberty, etc. suddenly going into a Jewish ceremonial act.

7. Many also practice 'water baptism after salvation' just like all the other Bible Believers.  It is also clear that water baptism before, during, for and/or after salvation means nothing - absolutely nothing in the dispensation of grace.  There is ONE baptism, according to Paul, and that is a spiritual baptism.  Ok, you say - but you ask, "Why did Paul baptize?"  Read that portion in Acts and if you don't see the obvious answer there, write to me - or better yet, do a search on my website - there are many reasons why we shouldn't play the game of baptize with water today.

8.  How about a certain man on the internet with a large following - a nice gentleman, actually.  He has been "teaching home-style bible classes for over 30 years," his introduction says.  His teaching claims to be non-denominational so he has students from all the different denominations.  Now he has a "Through the Bible" TV program.  This man has a treasure chest full of nuggets - yet there are some dirty stones in that treasure house of his - and some of those nuggets are fool's gold.
    a) Non-denominational?  Those folks in those denominations should be out of their denomination very soon in their studies if Paul is truly preached.  Those people should quickly avoid, from such turn away, etc. from their denomination.  And rightlfully so, members of their denominations, if they follow their church doctrines, are NOT part of the Body of Christ.  So if they have truly been saved through Paul's teachings, they should NOT be members of those denominations!   Paul doesn't fit with those denominations at all - and those denominations don't follow Paul - AT ALL!
    b) Calling the 'gap theory' the 'gap fact', as he does, is putting his 'two cents' into an unproveable doctrine that only divides and separates - but it does bring follower his way because it sounds so good.  To the average listener, they really don't understand it, so they follow the guy who sounds so scholarly.  I know folks - I saw it within my own church with a sunday school teacher that was so far over everyone's head, they thought he was brilliant.  When Paul arrived, he left!  (PS - the Gap Theory teaches what went on between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 and involves a lot assumption and speculation from both sides - interesting but never scripturally factual.)
    c) This man has 'slipped up' when he uses Greek to prove a point of Scripture.  We know we don't need Greek to 'correct' any scripture and so we certainly don't need Greek to 'prove' any scripture either!  That is the 'sneaky' proof that the man believes in the originals as his final authority, not the King James Bible, that he claims he supports so well.  He is not being honest!
    d) He says that for God, it will be easy for Him to send people to the lake of fire.  Yes, God provided every way He could to save people from the eternal fires - but to say it will be easy for Him to do so - God grieves over those souls, even though they rejected His Son!

To me, the two biggest problems I have with this man is his ecumenicalism and his use of Greek to supposedly prove / correct the KJB.

All these folks, the gracer's, the followers of this man, and other men that get caught up in 'building' a following / assembly are dangerous and have to compromise the serious truth somewhere to get their followers.

Like I have said, the devil knows how to take the sincere truth of Paul and still twist it for people. One must be diligent to keep with the KJB and Paul if they put the word ONLY after it.

I do say and mean KJB ONLY and PAUL ONLY.  Genesis to Revelation is FOR us but Paul's books are the only ones TO us today.  In fact, even Corinthians has to be rightly divided using I Corinthians 13:8-10 as its basis.  And of course, there are verses in Timothy and Titus that are TO women only, TO men only, to the aged, etc.

Rightly Dividing is the key to understanding the simplicity of the King James Bible. And there aren't many out there who rightly divide rightly dividing and there aren't many out there who truly believe the KJB to be the inspired, inerrant, and that which is perfect has come!

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness:
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:22

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east,
they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
Amos 1:11-13

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
I Corinthians 15:33

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:
but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
II Corinthians 2:17

And on and on... the King James Bible says all and exposes all!
