Personal Bible Study Ooutline on...
Paul's Manner of Life
as told to him by the Risen Saviour

It isn't just only 'what' we do that is important as a sincere Christian; it is also 'how' we do what we do as sincere Christians.  Knowing that the risen Saviour tells us to follow Paul as our wise masterbuilder and that we should take heed in how we buildeth thereupon, then let us look to Paul's manner of life as our material from which we should build thereupon.  Let's not try to 'imitate' Paul's life, as the modern bibles say, but let's look to the scriptures to see 'how' and 'what' we are to do concerning Paul's manner of life.

Help to Do Your Own Study?
This is a written bible study that is taken from 24 sermons that are available on-line starting with June 5, 2011.  Each sermon has written notes that would give you the scriptures for the following list, but I suggest you do your own search for these points.  Print this page and then in the space next each point, list the Scripture references as you find them.  If you want/need help in finding the Scriptures, click on this link - June, 2011, starting with June 5.  The links to the complete series of sermons and detailed studies are available on that page.

PS.
According to Romans 2:16 and including all the Scriptures listed below in this study, you will see that this is the 'stuff' that you will need to have known to prepare you for your judgment seat 'final exam.'    Hopefully, we are all learning to incorporate Paul's manner into our own life as well as your own family's if you are a parent!

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Romans 2:16

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you,
and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
I Thessalonians 1:9

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life...
II Timothy 3:10 -

Our "Manner of Life Guide"...
...as we learn to follow the Risen Saviour through Paul...
...especially concerning OTHERS:

Notice in these studies that as they are written for your own application; they can also certainly help you as you try to help others.  Often, we go after our friends with too much - sometimes not enough - sometimes too softly and probably, at times, more than we should, we approach them too hard!

It doesn't matter to them that you care; they usually seem to reject your care and concern.  Why? It is that they probably don't even have the true Holy Spirit IN them?  As a result, their own spirit rejects these spiritual helps.

Remember this: as the verse states in I Thessalonians 1:9, hopefully they will 'SEE IN YOU' - 'BEFORE' you start preaching to them, how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.  If you haven't been doping very well in that public testimony, (in the manner that the Risen Saviour through Paul shows us), then I wouldn't expect much from them, either, other than their own criticism towards you.  Remember - they don't know 'all things are lawful' to you because you believe!  All too often people see us doing things that a 'christian' shouldn't be doing (things that are based on their gospel beatitudinal teachings).

And we also know that when you try to leave a godly life, according to Paul's teachings, you will suffer persecution.  II Tiimothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

So here ya go... think about yourself first, then think of some folks that you really care about
as you read through this 'manner of life' as prescribed by Paul.

Conclusion
What's left to try when none of the above has worked?
25.  Deliver Them to Satan - the god of this world!
"Let 'em Go!"
You must remember that it isn't God you turn them over to; it is to the god of this world.
      1. For Destruction of the flesh
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. I Corinthians 5:5

      2. Tol Learn not to blaspheme!
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.  I Timothy 1:20

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
